Brighter Horizons is a local Banffshire based not for profit organisation that was formed to support young people, their families and the community. Brighter Horizons delivers many projects; Brighter Horizons Youth which provides interventions and opportunities for local young people such as drop in sessions, Friday Night Football, training and support is still on going and utilised by over 100 y

oung people. Brighter Horizons Community is something new and supports a number of exciting ventures for the organisation. Brighter Horizons community includes an exchange programme linked with 3 schools in Zimbabwe and most recently Brighter Horizons have become registered as a Specialist Fostering Agency. We provide high quality supported family placements for children and young people aged between 8 and 21, allowing consistent and stable care, in which a child can be effectively supported, nurtured and allowed to thrive. Any surplus funding taken into Brighter Horizons from this will be put straight into the local community and support the work and projects of the organisation. Brighter Horizons is committed to: building a stronger community, improving life chances, creating opportunities and facilitating community learning and development.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for so kindly allowing our Rainbows group to use your hall free of charge for our weekly sessions. Your generosity and support truly mean so much to us.

Having a safe, welcoming space to meet each week makes a huge difference, and thanks to your kindness, we are able to direct more of our funds towards providing exciting activities, resources, and memorable experiences for the girls. This has a direct and lasting impact on what we can offer them, helping to create fun, engaging sessions where they can learn, grow, and build confidence.

Thanks again for your kindness and generosity, it is very much appreciated by both our leaders and all of the girls.

A throwback to 5 1/2 years ago where we were able to make and deliver meals which helped many during Covid. It was great to see local businesses and the community pulling together!
