🌸 Volunteers' Week 2026 🌸
A huge thank you to all our Prestbury In Bloom volunteers for everything they do throughout the year.
This colourful planting at our local school was recently provided by two of our volunteers, and planted with the help of pupils.
It's always lovely to see the children getting involved, enjoying learning about plants and helping to look after the displays throughout the year.
We'd also like to thank Prestbury Plant & Garden for their advice and support.

🌼 Bank Holiday weekend in the village 🌼
It may be a bit grey out there today, but here’s a little sunshine from a couple of days ago☀️ Our village planters still looking lovely, filled with winter and spring bedding and full of colour.
If you’re visiting the village over the Bank Holiday, do take a moment to enjoy them—they’re a real team effort and still looking their best despite the change in weather 🌿
A big thank you as well to those who’ve been keeping them watered during the recent dry spell—it really does make all the difference 💧

🌱 Got spare plants? We’d love them! 🌱
Our Prestbury in Bloom volunteers have been busy weeding and clearing the school beds and now we’d love your help to bring them back to life. If you’re thinning out your garden or dividing plants, we’d really appreciate them.
We're hoping that some of the children will be helping with the planting, so we’re especially keen on anything with colourful flowers that support bees and butterflies – but honestly, any healthy plants, seeds, bulbs or cuttings are very welcome. Just pop them in a pot or keep the roots moist and we’ll take care of the rest.
If possible, drop-off will be at the school - please send us a message to arrange.

February may still feel grey and wet ☁️🌧️, but the first snowdrops and early blooms are a lovely reminder that spring is on the way 🌱🌼
