We’re delighted to support The Urology ‘Worth its Weight in GOLD’ campaign this Urology Awareness Month.
This national awareness campaign is designed to spark conversations around one of the most overlooked indicators of our health: Urine.
They’re highlighting that every day, millions of people flush away valuable clues about what's happening inside their bodies.
Despite its importance, many people still feel embarrassed talking about urine or urinary symptoms.
As a result, symptoms are often dismissed, ignored or hidden away, delaying conversations with healthcare professionals.
That’s why they’re calling on everyone to rethink urine.
➡️Not as waste, as wisdom⬅️
By recognising the value of urine, they want people get to know their bodies, act earlier, seek advice sooner and have better outcomes.
The message is clear: Take control. Check your urine.
If you’d like more information about the campaign or to download ‘The P*e Checker’, visit their website.

Hi All. Here are the August figures. Thank you to all who helped in any way and Jordan for doing the posters and graphics. It has been a very busy month with 9 meetings, 2 Radio interviews, a litter pick, 1 zoom and 1 teams meeting too. The next event poster will be up soon. Reported all the crab bags and that is being investigated.

Did you know that 1 in 2 people will face a urological condition in their lifetime?
September is .
It is time to break the stigma around bladder, kidney, and prostate health. Early detection saves lives. Don't ignore the warning signs. See a doctor immediately if you notice:
🚨 Blood in your urine (even just once)
🚨 A sudden, frequent need to p*e
🚨 Pain or burning during urination
Let’s get talking and stop suffering in silence

🧠 September is World Alzheimer’s Month.
This year, the global theme is "The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters."
Early detection opens doors to better care, support networks, and clinical trials.
Let’s break the stigma and start open conversations about brain health.
