What a change in the weather! Yesterday's sunshine saw 13 Story Explorers and their families take an interactive story walk around the woods of Lytham Hall! We made wands, sang about frogs ( and jumped off logs), and rescued the Room on the Broom witch from the dragon!

A few of our lovely attendees were asking about the next event - it will be 18th November in Ashton Gardens - the story will be Zog. We were fully booked twice over for yesterday's event so please do book early, either through the fb page or via [email protected]

Playgroup at Park View 4U is still on this afternoon, 1 till 3 if anyone wants to brave the puddles! The next Baby & Toddler after today will be Thursday 5th November.

And another reminder about our Family Fun Afternoon on Thursday 29th October. Open 1230 to 230, open to all children 0 to 10, free entry.

Just one more Thursday Baby & Toddler before The Coastal Collective break for half term!
Come along to our free friendly group between 1 and 3, at Park View.

We know most of our schools finish for half term later so please do bring your 0 to 10s to our free of charge Family Fun Session on Thursday 29th October!

Open between 1230 and 230 for you to drop in, there will be a treasure hunt, face painting, rock painting, spooky snack making and more!

No need to book, however last year's event was very popular and we did run out of some items! Held in the Eco pod at Park View 4U .

The Coastal Collective Exploring Stories would like to invite you to Lytham Hall on Wednesday 14th October for our next Story!

We will be taking an interactive story walk around Room on the Broom with crafts, songs and of course the fun story!

Great opportunity to improve IT skills

Come and join Blackpool and the Fylde College on Wednesday October 7th at The Pod at Park View 4U in Lytham, for a FREE Boost Your Digital Skills course.
The course will take place from 11am - 2.30pm with refreshment breaks.

It is a chance to build confidence with computers and technology, perfect for beginners.

The session will include
- Using a laptop and a mouse
- Managing files and folders
- Microsoft Word basics
- Saving and finding your work
- Online essentials for every day life
Laptops will be provided on the day

This course is free for anyone who receives

Thank you to all our regular Story Explorers and newbies who came along to Park View 4U today. It was lovely to see how much they have developed over the summer break!

We took a trail through the woodland with our newly decorated cups, finding food, throwing snowballs and vegetables and of course making a good cup of tea for the Tiger!

We rounded it all off with sausages and chips.

Thank you Park View for the use of the Pod today.

Our next session will be Room on the Broom for those spooky Autumn days, to be held on October 14th at Lytham Hall.

A little reminder about Thursday Baby & Toddler - 1 till 3 at the Pod in Park View 4U. Free entry and a warm, quiet group. We are all welcoming!

Tiger Who Came to Tea - Wednesday 23rd will probably now also start in the Pod looking at the weather! Meet us there between 1015 and 1030 to start our Story walk. Bring wellies and puddlesuits because we will still be going outside!
