Just a little reminder The Coastal Collective and The Coastal Community Hub are on Half Term break from today. Our groups return on Monday 1st June!

Park View 4U groups begin again on 1st June with a Gruffalo interactive story - for all those who missed our exploring stories, or would like a play alongside a story. 1 till 3, free entry.

Baby & Toddler returns in the Park View pod on Thursday 4th June, 1 till 3.

We are also taking bookings for the next Exploring Stories - Snail & The Whale on St. Annes Beach - Wednesday 10th June. Suitable for ages 2+. Please message our page or email [email protected] ( we will come back to you on our return in the new term).

Exploring Stories successfully found our Gruffalo in Ashton Gardens! We avoided the rain to make pinecone Mice, found the Fox's tail, made and in some cases ate Owl icecream, wriggled and jumped in the Snakes and made some yummy water fowl friendly Gruffalo Crumble!
Thank you to all who came and made the occasion delightful as always.

Our next Exploring Stories will be (weather permitting) The Snail and the Whale on St Annes beach. Why not bring your bucket and spade along for a picnic afterwards?

Please note we are closed for half term from the 23rd May until 31st May - emails and messages will be answered on our return.

Just a little reminder there is no The Coastal Collective baby & toddler group this week, Thursday 21st May. Park View 4U groups will also be closed next week over half term and we return on Monday 1st June with Neli Vocabulary.

We have our Exploring Stories tomorrow on Wednesday 20th for those who have booked! We look forward to seeing you there.

The Coastal Collective have been chosen as one of Lytham Festival s chosen Charity Partners. We will be at Teddy Swims on the Wednesday taking donations towards our work.
We are holding a raffle prior to the event and wondered if any of our followers were in touch with any businesses able to donate prizes.
As a charity we work with children in all the FY8 schools and the monies will go back into the work we do!

Just a little reminder that due to other bookings at Park View 4U and then half term, Neli group on Monday 18th May, and 25th May, and Baby & Toddler on Thursday 21st and 28th will not be on.

We will return on Monday 1st of June with Neli preschool vocabulary group, 1 till 3, and Baby & Toddler on Thursday 4th June.

Our Free of Charge Neli Vocabulary group - full of stories and activities! This week we are starting Toby and the Tricky Things by Lou Peacock.
Come along - no need to book!
Our special words today are Pour, Big and Small.

Thursday at Park View Baby & Toddler 1 till 3
No need to book, suitable for ages 0 to 4! Age appropriate toys and activities, tea, coffee, juice and biscuits available!

Wednesday 20th May - Exploring Stories returns!
We will take an interactive walk through the story of the Gruffalo, meeting at 1015 in Ashton Gardens. Suitable for ages 2+ and we always finish with a snack! Please message the page or email [email protected] to book.

Please note, the Park View activities will take a 2 week break after this week, due to prior bookings and Half Term, and will return on Monday 1st June!

Calling all our Story Explorers!

Our next session will be Wednesday 20th May! We hope to hold this in Ashton Gardens - our Story will be announced next week!

Suitable for children 2+ and their carers/families, we will take an interactive wander around the park, stopping for crafts, nature spotting, songs and activities. We then return to our starting place for the all important snack.

This will be from 1015 until around 1130. Places are free of charge, however donations towards materials very welcome.

The Coastal Collective is a children’s charity working across Lytham St Annes. We are seeking a dedicated practitioner to support children and families through a range of programmes delivered in our local schools.
​✨ What We Are Offering:
​Salary: £25,989 to £28,142 per annum (pro-rata term time only)
​Leave: 6 weeks’ paid leave including bank holidays
​Support: Employee Assistance programme

​🎓 Qualification & Experience:
​Experience working with children and young people in an educational, youth work, or mental health setting.
​A strong understanding of Safeguarding and child protection principles.
​Knowledge and experience of wellbeing strategies, mental health first aid, or therapeutic approaches.
​GCSE Grade 4/Grade C or above in English and Maths.
​Qualifications in Early Years, Primary or Secondary education, Mental Health, or Social work are welcomed.
