❤Jacob’s Lego Fund-Day ❤

Please join us at Cafe incredABLE @ Jethro on Friday as we raise funds for a very special boy! We deeply appreciate the generosity of our customers and the wider public so far. The reaction we've received has really boosted everyone's spirits🫶

To date, we've raised almost £3,000 for the Bingham family through online donations. 👏

The backstory....

Jacob Bingham, the much loved son of our Cafe Supervisor Eve, is currently in Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, awaiting heart surgery, having already undergone a major operation last month. He is such a brave boy!

Jacob will be turning 14 later this month and one of his favourite past-times is building spectacular Lego models. Spending time building these huge pieces helps to keep him occupied during lengthy hospitals stays and brings him so much joy.

We would love to gift him an amazing Lego Icons Set (or maybe two!) and will be holding a special fundraiser at our social enterprise cafe this Friday, 19th June.

From open to close, there will be complimentary tea, filter coffee and sweet treats for all of our customers. The dress-up theme is Lego: the brighter, the better!

But if you don’t fancy dressing up, just come as you are! New faces very welcome!

In return, we would appreciate it if you would drop a donation into our fundraising bucket.

Any funds remaining after the Lego set has been purchased will be gifted to the Bingham family to help cover the expenses of staying in London during this difficult time.

Eve is a highly thought of member of our cafe team and has been with us since our social enterprise opened its doors 8 years ago. The reaction to this appeal is clear evidence of this. Eve would be the first person to help anyone going through a difficult time in our community. ❤

We had some very exciting visitors in Kidzpatch as part of our mini beast theme. The children loved observing our caterpillars over the past few weeks & learning about their life cycle. We were so excited to see all 5 butterflies emerge safely! And we even named them before letting them fly off....Butter, Daisy, Rosie, Thomas & Thomas Jr
