An arts Festival has been supported by a Friends organisation for many decades and the new Friends of Ludlow Arts Festival will carry on that tradition. Their subscriptions and the wide range of fundraising events held during the year will be built up in to a fund for the Friends of Ludlow Arts Festival to manage and distribute as they see fit, in accordance with their charitable objects. The obje

cts area currently being drafted and will aim to support education, community involvement, supporting the arts and supporting Ludlow festival. The plan is for funds to be distributed using fair and transparent processes, so that schools, groups and individuals can apply to have activity funded. It’s hoped that this will empower the Friends to support a truly diverse community arts festival in Ludlow.
