Massive thank you to our joyful band of litter pickers this morning. πŸ™ Between them they managed to collect 12 bags of rubbish from the roadsides of Sutton Lane and Lound Low Road. This included an incredible amount of wine and vodka bottles, a shredded tyre, a piece of manky carpet and, believe it or not, a toilet! 😲
We must also give praise to the villagers who litter pick voluntarily on a regular basis but couldn't make it today - thank you Carol, Teresa and Keith. πŸ‘

Potential Hazard on Sutton Lane
We've had a report of some of the steel fencing from the Sutton Lane housing development partially blocking the road, maybe as a result of the current high winds. This is currently unconfirmed, but may pose a hazard to traffic entering or leaving the village via Sutton Lane.

Please drive carefully, there may be other debris blowing around.
