Without judgement, our strong, passionate team works together with the local community to prevent and relieve homelessness. Through providing a range of specialist housing related advice, support and assistance services, we aim to empower a future where we all thrive in safe and secure homes. We will not tolerate any of the following behaviours:

Aggressive comments and swearing
Inflammatory comments
Intimidation, including threatening behaviour
Inciting hate, including sexism, racism and homophobia

Any person displaying such behaviour will therefore be removed from our page.

🏊We had an amazing time supporting our Swimmers at the last weekend!🏊‍♀️

🏞It was a fantastic event and the views were simply incredible!🏞

🌟A MASSIVE thank you to Ian Clarke, Jamie Walker, and Marion Walker who have collectively raised nearly £2500 for The Bridge!🌟

Ian completed a mammoth TEN KILOMETRE swim in lake Windermere on Friday 12th June. Strong winds on the day made the conditions on the water extremely choppy, but Ian overcame the elements to accomplish this incredible achievement.

1️⃣If you live in Charnwood, The Bridge offer home energy advice visits through LEAP. Our advisor will assess your situation to help you understand your energy bills and current usage, and provide money saving advice and support tailored to your circumstances.

If you are eligible, our advisor can also help you with boiler repairs and replacements, heating system tune ups, replacing old appliances, and fitting energy saving measures to your home.

We are hoping to expand our Home Energy Advice service to include Leicester City in the near future.

2️⃣If you don't live in Charnwood, anyone in the UK can self-refer to LEAP's energy advice service to help reduce their energy bills.

3️⃣The Leicestershire Welfare Provision provides emergency food and fuel support, and is available for households facing crisis anywhere in Leicestershire.

🥳 We're delighted to announce we've been awarded £40,000 by the Garfield Weston Foundation for the second year running!🥳

This funding comes at a critical time, as local authorities continue to make cuts, and the ever rising cost of living makes fundraising increasingly difficult.

🏡 This funding allows us to spend more time focusing on supporting those facing housing crisis across Leicestershire, Leicestershire, and Rutland.🏡

🏆We are delighted to have been re-accredited by the AQS! This is a huge achievement, and a real testament to the dedication of our incredible team!🏆

🙌What's more, 'as a result of the excellent approach to quality within the advice service', not a single area of improvement or corrective action was identified!🙌

🏅Several areas of good practice were also recognised, covering access to our services, the delivery of our services, our organisational governance, operations, and our ongoing commitment to quality.🏅

📈It was also noted that since our last assessment in 2024 we have 'demonstrated continued growth and service development'.📈

💜We are extremely proud of everyone at The Bridge for this incredible achievement, which highlights our commitment to delivering the best possible service to the who need our support.💜
