1st Loughborough Girls’ Brigade

16/10/2026

And that’s a wrap on our 1st half term. The girls have completed their Autumn badge and done an amazing joint effort of raising (so far) £66.22 in their loose change jars. Thank you also Parents/ Carers for helping the girls to gather loose change. This will all go towards our soon-to-be-announced 93rd birthday 🎈 celebration.

Thank you to everyone that helped us fundraise towards this for The Girls' Brigade England & Wales. Together we’ve helped raise just over £31k.

We’re now in the final stretch of our Big Give campaign, with less than two hours left to donate - and we have passed £30,000!!

Although the matched funding has been used up, every pound will go to Girls’ Brigade to help develop new badges & resources to help support girls & young women.
Any and ALL donations raised by and on behalf of 1st Loughborough GB will count towards the PGL prize, even though the matched funding has been used up.

Please if you are able to, donate here ➡️ https://bit.ly/GBEW-BigGive2026 and then send us your name & donation reference so they can be attributed to us.

Thank you all for supporting us

(P.s it would be amazing to win the PGL weekend 🤩👀)

The 100 for £100 campaign is live! Every eligible donation made through the official Big Give Page could be doubled while matched funding remains. Help 1st Loughborough reach £100 (can we get to £200?? 👀)- and perhaps go even further for the chance to win a FREE PGL weekend. If you’re able too, please donate here: https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS00000GF3E5YAL

Be sure to tell us that you’ve donated so we can attribute it to our fundraising total.

Please donate if you are able to. Once you’ve donated if you can message us with your name and reference number so it can be tracked against our amount raised that would be amazing.

We’re delighted to announce that we have been selected to take part in the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund 2026, thanks to the kind support of Admiral/Admiral Life!

Every donation made to our campaign will be DOUBLED while match funding is available, which means we have the opportunity to turn £10,000 into £20,000! 🙌

The money raised will support Stronger Girls: Confident In My Own Skin - our new programme helping 5,500 girls understand body-image pressures, challenge comparison culture and grow in confidence and self-worth.

To make it EVEN better, GB HQ have teamed up with PGL to offer a free weekend for for up to 12 girls & 2 Leaders for the group that raises the most 🙏🤞.

Thank you all for supporting us and we’ll be putting some of the money from last weekend into the pot too
