1st Loughborough Girls’ Brigade

We brought LUSH to GB tonight. The girls have loved making their own lip balms, soaps & bath bombs. Church smelt lovely tonight 😁.

Next week will be our last week at Trinity before we break up for summer & we’ll be making candles before ending the night with our yearly awards.

Hi everyone, it’s Vicky here. I’m doing the Nottingham Pretty muddy 5k next Saturday (20th June) along with the ‘Radmoor ladies’. We are desperately looking for another Leader (or more) to join us as soon as physically possible as sadly Kat is leaving us to go to university in the summer.

You need to be 18+, friendly and you’ll need a DBS check which we can do for you (free for volunteers 👀).

Not only is becoming a Leader rewarding, as a Leader there’s the opportunity to go to GB international, be a part of the Esther collective (18- 30 years), help the girls’ to develop new skills and friendships as well as meeting other Leaders at the GB conferences.

We meet Thursday evenings 6:30- 7:45pm during term time.

A reminder about The Girls' Brigade England & Wales talent competition- ‘CreateFEST’.

The competition is open to ALL members of Girls’ Brigade and is a chance to express yourself or maybe even try something new.

It’s £10 per person or group per category and all entries need to be in by Friday 31st July and the winners will be announced in the autumn.

⭐️ Now here’s the exciting part ⭐️
All winners will be invited down to London for a celebration event in October to either display or perform their winning piece.

Fudge has had quite an adventure with Vicky over half term. 1st it was the 1st ever farm fest with the Clarkson’s farm crew, then the Warner brothers Harry Potter studio tour and then the Mundo Pixar experience
