The black/brown horse in this field in Little Longstone has managed to shed his blanket so I have draped it over the wall to dry it out. They may need it tonight given the forecast for heavy rain?

Auditions for Youlgreave village panto 2027 Treasure Island will take place in Youlgreave village hall: Monday 7 September 6.30 for children over 8, Monday 14 September 7pm for adults.

Sheep loose on A6020 near the holiday cottages where the road floods between Thornbridge and Hassop. Almost caused a bad crash in the dark.

Please could you keep an eye out and check outbuildings around Furnall Avenue/Glebe Avenue for the small feral cat that has lived in our garden for the past 7 years. We haven't seen her since Sunday and that's very unusual. She is still completely feral in that she doesn't want any interaction with humans unless of course we are feeding her or providing hot water bottles in her outdoor bed in the winter! We call her Tiny.... any sightings would be much appreciated.
