We haven't posted here for a few weeks as we're wanting everyone to move to the Carse of Gowrie Kirk page before this one closes, but here's the notice and link about the service this week.

A very simple title for the service this week from Carse of Gowrie Kirk - Don't throw stones!
With so much mud-slinging, finger-pointing and blame-seeking, did Jesus have anything to say about our times? Well, he didn't speak much, but his actions were very powerful.
Share in worship in Inchture and Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am and Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am, or any time here online.
Don't throw stones!

It takes courage to keep course when you are being trolled or when cruel people are after you. Or even just when scare stories are told to put you off. A cou...

Back to the stones and rocks summer theme and back to online services too.
This week it's Peter recognising who Jesus really is and Jesus calling Peter a rock - what did he mean by that?
In Inchture and Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am and Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am and online here.

We've now been Carse of Gowrie Kirk for half a year and most people have switched over to that page. Everything that would have been on here is now there - and more besides. We'd invite you, if you are still following this page to change to Carse of Gowrie Kirk. All the services and so on are the same as they were, with the regular service in Longforgan on Sundays at 11am.
Thank you.

Family services in all our locations this week and it's all about stones. If you can, bring one with you (not one that's precious to you) but there's no necessity. Hands on to enjoy whatever your age - and there will be baking from today's barbecue in each place as there's still plenty of that.

Abernyte and Inchture on Sunday at 9.30am, Invergowrie and Longforgan at 11am. Online here any time (but sadly no cake online!)

Where's your focus? How easy do you find it to focus on the things you want to? Questions we're exploring in this week's service from Carse of Gowrie Kirk. We're in Inchture and Abernyte on Sunday at 9.30am and Longforgan and Invergowrie at 11am, or join here online.

Despite many distractions we can find reassurance and focus in Christ: as a people you and I are made to long for depth: depth of thought, of relationship, d...

Sunday is the festival of Pentecost, the birthday of the Church, when Jesus' followers were filled with the Holy Spirit. Peter jumped up and started talking about dreams and visions and that's what we're thinking of in worship this week. Online here or in Abernyte and Inchture on Sunday at 9.30am and Longforgan and Invergowrie at 11am. Come and celebrate and dream with us!

Thank you to all who joined us and enjoyed the very successful strawberry 🍓 tea at Longforgan Church Hall this afternoon. I’m sure that you will agree that we had a wonderful selection of cakes, meringues, shortbread, scones, jam and of course, strawberries 🍓for you to enjoy.

Your hosts and bakers are finally sitting down and enjoying their coffee and scooping up the remnants of the goodies. Not that there was very much left at all!

Thanks too to Irene, Winifred and Jo and to Ezra at Longforgan Village Shop for their very kind donations.
