🎉 DBFHUK Hair Braiding Workshop 2026 – A Great Success! 🎉

What an amazing day! We are proud to share the highlights from our successful Hair Braiding Workshop, delivered in partnership with Nurture Academy.

Our Deaf participants enjoyed learning professional hair braiding techniques in a fully accessible environment with the support of professional British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters. Throughout the day, everyone learned new skills, built confidence, made new friends, and had lots of fun together.

Congratulations to all of our participants on receiving their certificates! 🎓 Every participant also received a special DBFHUK gift bag to take home as a thank-you for joining us.

✨ The Countdown is On! ✨

We are so excited to welcome everyone to our Hair Braiding Workshop tomorrow! 💇🏾‍♀️🎉

Our professional hair braiding tutor from Nurture Academy will be joining us to teach beautiful braiding techniques in a friendly and accessible environment for the Deaf community.

📅 Saturday 27 June
🕚 Workshop: 11:00am – 1:00pm
🕥 Please arrive by 10:45am for registration.
🚫 There will be no tickets available on the door.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE – DEAF-FRIENDLY HAIR BRAIDING WORKSHOP 📢

Due to low numbers, the Afternoon Session (2:00pm – 4:00pm) has now been cancelled.

✅ The Morning Session (11:00am – 1:00pm) will still go ahead as planned on Saturday 27th June 2026.

🎟️ Ticket Deadline: Tomorrow!
