Aurora is now officially Aurora for Good. Our mission is still the same, helping improve and save lives, but we're stepping it all up a gear!

Keep watching this space for updates, product insights, and more excitingly some of the wonderful differences we are helping to make!

Thank you for everyone that has every supported Aurora, since first inception in 2015 and on the long journey ever since.

Question: Can second hand bikes help good causes?
With Summer (in the Northern Hemisphere) approaching, lots of children will learn to ride bicycles on roads & in parks. But what do you do with outgrown bikes?
There are many charities & businesses that 'accept' donated bikes, but what do they do with them? How much of the money raised goes towards the cause? How do the causes use these funds?
e.g. £300 new bike -> Second hand value £30 -> Rennovated & Refurbished -> Value to Charity £60 -> Provides 120 days of clean water to a family house in Tansania

Is there ANY charity willing to quantify any part of that equation with a similar example? If not - Why not?
