TOMORROW NIGHT👇🏾

Reform and Resistance online event: responding to the rise of the far-right and xenophobia in our communities

With Reform taking control of councils across the UK, and the far-right ramping up harmful hatred, we need urgency and collective action.

This weekend’s march welcomed good numbers but our work must go beyond national demos and extend into our communities where so many feel unsafe right now.

This online session, self-organised by the contributors, will explore two important sides of the issue:

🧠 What do we do about the rise of the far-right?

Looking at what’s driving the rise, and challenging the causes and rhetoric behind it.

🤝 How do we support and protect our communities?

Discussing how we organise, mobilise, and unite to keep our communities safe.

We’ll discuss the political moment, anti-racist and community organising, and practical responses.

📅 Date and time: Thursday 21 May, 7-9pm.

🤝 *Open to: All who care about fighting back against xenophobia.

At a time when the far-right is a real threat to our rights, our safety and our freedom, we need to be focused on growing a mass socialist movement that can fight back and truly make a difference.

We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to organise and build something different. A movement that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, who share the goal of ending austerity, imperialism and the capitalist despair that is ruining lives while billionaires and warmongers laugh down on us.

That’s what matters.

Solidarity with all comrades who've been building this party. I appreciate you. 🫶🏾

On a dark day when Donald has openly stated that Iran’s “whole civilisation will die, never to be brought back” and life-saving doctors are having to strike again for fair pay and conditions, Keir’s priority is shutting down a music event in July.

If only he could turn 10% of this effort into stopping the genocide, instead of rolling out the red carpet for the US to use our military bases to fire bombs, then countless lives would be saved.

No amount of shame will be sufficient for this Prime Minister. A sickening lack of regard for human lives.

What a bloc. ✊🏾

Proud to march with the bloc at today’s march and hundreds of thousands of others standing firmly against racism and the far-right.

A great turn-out. Our anti-racism work continues tomorrow, and every day.

Whose streets? 📢

26/03/2026

It’s a no (without the thanks) to racism from me. We stand against it not just on Saturday march but every day, in every way.

After tens of thousands hit the streets behind career racist Robinson, bankrolled by Musk, showing up in the masses at anti-racist marches like this is important.

But our work doesn’t stop there.

We must bring the same energy we have for big marches to small community initiatives being targeted by racism. To confronting racism everywhere; from boardrooms to dinner tables.

We must absolutely, wholeheartedly reject the racist scapegoating from the Epstein-class and corrupt politicians, desperately trying to use blame people of colour to distract from their own horrific crimes and misconduct.

We must question a police force that has been found to be deeply institutionally racist for decades, with no reform.

We must be clear on the role of imperialism and colonisation and remind Keir that it is not enough to be “tolerant” of diversity, in a country built on the labour of people of colour.

So on Saturday, we march.
And our anti-racist work continues on Sunday.

We’ll confront racism every day, in every way. ✊🏾
