More Than Words: A Record of Impact in Guyuk/Shelleng ,Adamawa State
By Chief Emmanuel Ishaku Lamza (Chokali Lunguda)
When the philanthropist stated that there is no family in Guyuk that has not benefited from his kind gestures and humanitarian efforts, it was not a statement made out of pride or to insult anyone. It was a sincere expression of commitment, loyalty, and a deep-rooted connection to his community.
In Nunguru land, the meaning of family goes far beyond a narrow definition. Family is extended by culture and tradition , it includes relatives, neighbors, and even distant members of the community. Within this broader understanding, his activities have directly or indirectly touched the lives of people across Guyuk and Shelleng. To deny this would be to overlook an evident truth.
It is also important to emphasize that this man has never held any political office nor contested for any position. Yet, he has remained consistent in spreading love, offering support, and promoting goodwill among the people.
Chokali Lunguda is truly an angel in human form to our dear land. He is a priceless asset to our community, a man whose impact words can hardly capture, a man who has broken records that will stand for generations. We are proud that such an extraordinary individual comes from our own land and not from another state or local government. If greatness could be adopted, many communities would gladly claim him.
Rather than criticizing him, we should channel our energy into appreciating his efforts, celebrating his contributions, and praying for greater strength and wisdom for him. Leaders who serve without seeking gain deserve encouragement and recognition.
Chief Emmanuel Ishaku Lamza, we are proud of you. We pray for you and assure you of our unwavering commitment and loyalty for as long as we live.
