The next chapter for Clapham North Bridge.

Following the Clapham North Bridge Design Competition, the winning team, Makower Architects has now been invited to further develop its vision for the Clapham North railway bridge and clock tower.

Working alongside the judging panel and key stakeholders, the design will be refined using feedback gathered throughout the competition process from judges, businesses, stakeholders and the 2,250 members of the public who shared their views.

A huge thank you once again to every design team who took part in the competition. We’re excited to see the vision continue to evolve as plans progress.

Keeping Clapham safe while the rest of us enjoy a night out. 💚

Every Friday and Saturday night until 5am, our wardens patrol Clapham High Street, providing a visible and reassuring presence for businesses, visitors and residents alike.

Working alongside the Clapham Safe Haven team, venue security, the police and other partners, they’re on hand to support anyone who needs help and help everyone get home safely.

A huge thank you to our fantastic wardens for everything they do.

England may not have been in the final, but Voltaire Road still brought the atmosphere as Clapham came together to watch Spain take on Argentina on the big screen.

Now that’s how you do Wimbledon weekend. ☀️🎾

It was so good to see Voltaire Road packed for the finals, with sunshine, Pimm’s, great food and an amazing atmosphere all weekend long.

A big shout out to for bringing the tunes, pre-match entertainment and screen to Venn Street too. 👏
