The Lambeth Fringe is back! 🎭

We sat down with Rebecca, Co-Founder and Director of to chat about how the festival first began right here in Clapham, how it’s grown over the years and what we can look forward to this time around.

Running from 24 September – 25 October, there are five whole weeks of theatre, comedy, music, cabaret and more, with both emerging and established artists taking to venues across the borough.

Born from the team behind back in 2015, we love seeing how much this brilliant local festival has grown. 🫶

Celebrating 10 years of stories in Clapham 📚✨

Local author gives us the lowdown on this year’s Clapham Book Festival, returning to on 17 October for its 10th anniversary.

The day kicks off with the Clapham Literary Walk at 10.30am, followed by an afternoon and evening of brilliant authors, conversation and writing, including Vaseem Khan, Abir Mukherjee, Anne Sebba and Gordon Corera, plus the first Penelope McNeile Writing Competition prize presentation.

Meet Ben, the owner behind - a neighbourhood pet shop, daycare and groomers built around Clapham’s dogs and their humans. 🐶

Fido was created to feel less like a pet shop and more like a home from home, with hand-picked products from independent brands, an in-house grooming salon offering one-to-one care and doggy daycare.

There’s even Lottie’s Barkery, with home-baked treats made from healthy ingredients for your pup.

But what really makes Fido special is the community behind it. Ben and the team want to create a village for Clapham’s dog owners - helping people connect, walk together and make dog ownership in London that little bit easier. 🐾
