BFI Southbank is celebrating one of Australia’s most influential directors, Peter Weir, with a major retrospective spanning his extraordinary career.

Finding Your Way: The Films of Peter Weir brings together everything from eerie Australian New Wave classics to his most iconic Hollywood films - tracing a filmmaker drawn to mystery, identity and the unknown.

Directed by Yaara Bou Melhem, this award-winning documentary follows Banjima Elder Maitland Parker as he confronts the devastating legacy of the Wittenoom blue asbestos mine in Western Australia.
