Despite their demanding schedules, balancing work and home responsibilities, their time and commitment towards Nnauk have been truly commendable. Their support and efforts exemplify the spirit of service and leadership, inspiring us all to continue making a meaningful difference. We sincerely thank them for their valuable contributions and dedication.

On this International Nurses Day, let us celebrate our nurses — the foundation that supports and strengthens the NHS. The world would not be the same without the dedication, compassion, and resilience of our wonderful nurses.

Every day, nurses demonstrate courage, commitment, kindness, and empathy, even in the face of ongoing challenges. Their unwavering care continues to inspire and uplift communities everywhere.

As Mary Seacole once encouraged, let us use our voices, skills, and determination to challenge barriers and create positive change. At the same time, let us remember the importance of self-care — your health is your wealth.

United we care, empowered to lead, and driven towards success. 💕💐

Best wishes
Shreeja Dangol - General Secretary
On behalf of 8th Executive team

Tomorrow, 12th May, celebrated globally as International Nurses Day, also marks the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, the founder of modern nursing. To honor this special day, some of our esteemed advisors kindly shared their heartfelt messages about why nursing matters to them personally and professionally. Their insights serve as a powerful reminder of the vital role nurses play in healthcare, compassion, and community support. We can all learn from their experiences and dedication, drawing inspiration to continue making a positive impact in our own ways.
