πŸͺ” HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 4-DAY BHAGAVAD GITA LECTURE SERIES IN HARROW πŸͺ”

🌈 The Harrow Lecture Series was well attended with plenty of newcomers and young adults. There were the familiar faces of regular online class members who brought along others with them.

🌟 A massive thank you to all the volunteers, around 20 of them who met almost every week leading up to the lectures. Without their dedication and consistent efforts it wouldn’t have been possible to successfully conduct the lecture series.

✳️ We are also grateful to all the donors and sponsors. Their contributions helped to cover the cost of hiring the Harrow Arts Centre for the four days and the advertising expenses.

πŸ™ We are indeed grateful to The Honourable The Mayor of Harrow and the Honourable Deputy Mayor for inaugurating and closing the lecture series. Their presence helped to inspire the community members to participate and gain the valuable knowledge. Bhaskarji gifted a signed copy of the Bhagavad Gita to both of them.

πŸ€” All community members can start thinking and planning of various ways in which they can join in and help out with organising future events.

πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ If anyone is interested to be a volunteer or a donor or to assist in any manner, please email us at [email protected]

πŸ•‰οΈ Thank you to one and all. Hari Om.

Sunday 15 March 2026 | 9.30am

πŸͺ” One of the highlights of the recently concluded 4-day Bhagavad Gita Lecture Series were the engaging Q&A sessions each evening in which Bhaskarji answered questions asked by the audience.
πŸ’‘ As Bhaskarji had explained on the last day of the lectures, questioning is an essential form of reflection.
β˜€οΈ Join us for a special Q&A session this Sunday as we dive deeper into the timeless wisdom of the Gita and continue the enriching conversations sparked over the past four days.
πŸ§‘β€πŸ§‘β€πŸ§’β€πŸ§’ Open to all community members, even if they didn’t attend the 4-day lecture series.

πŸͺ” Highlights from the last day - DAY 4 πŸͺ”
Bhaskarji's 3rd Annual In-person Bhagavad Gita Lecture Series in Harrow

"The problem that people face is they are not able to act according to what they know is right and avoid what they know is wrong"

The lecture series on Chapter III: Karma Yoga concluded on Day 4 with The Worshipful the Deputy Mayor of Harrow giving the closing remarks and Bhaskarji gifting the Deputy Mayor with a copy of the Bhagavad Gita.

Key points covered on Day 4:

1️⃣ The power of the scriptures is they are written by self-realised souls who are in the super conscious state.
2️⃣ Knowledge is not enough. One has to go further to convert it to wisdom.
3️⃣ Desires can be controlled through a combination of knowledge and self-control.
β€’ Many people attended all 4 days and lots of young people were there eager to learn. At the end of the lecture everyone queued to meet and pay their respects to Bhaskarji. Bhaskarji gave them all a prasad, a gift, to express his love and gratitude towards them.
β€’ The volunteers worked hard right up to 10pm to clear everything after the lecture. Their dedication and service was inspiring and without their valuable time and effort we wouldn’t have been able to organise the event.
β€’ Thank you to all the attendees and the donors and the regular class members who support us throughout the year.
πŸ™ Thank you. Hari Om.
