Aslamo-alaikum, Brothers & Sisters.
The World Hijab Day is celebrated annually on 1st February, whose primary purpose is to offer awareness, education and empowerment and through this, Insha-ALLAH, reduce discrimination and prejudice against Muslim women. We are looking to fully celebrate this unique occasion and are asking everyone to participate. We will be sharing further details, including a guide, to say how you may wish to engage and mark the day. This will be supported by a national campaign, as we do, for example, for National Mosque Open Day and Unity Iftaar.
This, as you aware, is an important topic that requires both brothers and sisters working together at the local level to ensure the message reaches as many people as possible. It is a topic that affects all our mothers, wives, daughters and sisters, and it is paramount we support them and uphold what we believe. We will do our best to assist your efforts. At this stage, it would be helpful if you could complete a simple form to register your interest in hosting and celebrating the Day:
https://shorturl.at/xJlUH
We will then work with you to host an impactful day, Insha-ALLAH.
May ALLAH swt help & guide us.
Wassalaam,
New Muslim Care
