We had an interesting September meeting!!
Our President was caught up in traffic so she arrived fashionably late!
Our meal was not Quiche and salad but lasagne!!
Our speaker Dr Kate Kenyon from RBKares had surgery earlier that day and was slightly bandaged!!!
Our guest Natalie O'Rourke MBE from Park Lane Stables, RDA muddled along with club members which she enjoyed!
The good news Dr Kenyon gave a very interesting talk.
We marked UN International Day of Peace with a candle and remembered the immortal words of John Lennon 'Give Peace a Chance'.
IPP Cindy presented Natalie with a cheque from her fundraising wfforts for Park Lane. Most of the money went straight to Park Lane from JustGiving donations.
It ended up being a very jolly meeting!
