Today we said farewell to Splodge. The lovely ladies who rescued him and gave him the chance of a new life came to collect him after his check-up at the vets.

Splodge came to me on the 1st of June to give him some time to heal and recover while a permanent setup was arranged for him. He struggled with being enclosed, as a life indoors wasn't what Splodge was used to after having so much freedom.

After testing FIV positive, Splodge will now remain indoors, where he'll be treated like a king by his new owner. I'm so excited to see updates and photos of him in his new home—I know I'll be getting plenty!

Good luck, handsome boy. Enjoy your new life. ❤️

Astro has been to the vets today and has started her vaccination course. 💉✨

She is a lovely, friendly cat with a wonderful temperament. 🩷 Astro is full of energy, loves to play, and brings happiness wherever she goes. She is affectionate, enjoys human company, and has a curious nature that makes her a joy to be around. 😻

🌿 Astro would really benefit from a home with access to a safe and secure garden, as she loves spending time outdoors exploring her surroundings, chasing leaves, and enjoying the fresh air. ☀️🐾

Our gorgeous little black panther Astro is looking for her forever family.

At around 18 months old, Astro is full of life and personality. She's fun, playful, bouncy, and loves making friends with everyone she meets. Whether she's chasing toys or looking for fuss and attention, she always brings a smile to your face.

Astro is microchipped, neutered, and starts her vaccination course this Saturday. All she needs now is a place to call home and someone to love her.

🐾 Tom & Lily 🐾

These two have a truly special bond.

Both came to us after difficult starts in life, and through everything they've been through, they've found comfort in each other. Because of this, we'd love to see them adopted together.

Tom is the brave one – confident, outgoing, and always ready to greet you.

Lily is much more reserved. She is shy and nervous and will need time, patience, and understanding to learn that the world can be a safe place. Sadly, Lily has had more than her fair share of challenges, including blocked tear ducts, gingivitis, and most recently a full dental treatment.

Despite everything, she is a gentle little soul who deserves a chance to finally relax in a loving home.

We're looking for someone willing to see past Lily's fears and give both her and Tom the happy ending they've been waiting for.

🧶💜 A huge thank you to a truly wonderful lady who has spent her time lovingly knitting beautiful items for our rescue.

The kindness and generosity shown through every stitch means more than words can ever express. It isn't just the knitted items themselves that are appreciated – it's the thought, care, and love behind them that make them so special.

Running a rescue can be emotionally challenging at times, but the support we receive from amazing people like this reminds us that we are not alone. The encouragement, kindness, and belief in what we do gives us the strength to keep going, even on the difficult days.

Every handmade item represents not only countless hours of hard work, but also the immense support and love that surrounds our rescue community. Knowing that people care enough to give their time, skills, and hearts to help us makes an incredible difference.

I'm feeling quite heartbroken at the moment.

Following an anonymous complaint, my housing association has told me that I must remove all of the cats currently in my care because I don't have permission to run a business from my home. I never realised rescuing, fostering and helping cats in need could be considered a business.

Ironically, the complaint claimed I was keeping 30 cats. I wish I could help that many! The reality is simply that I care deeply about animals and do my best to help where I can.

This situation has made me realise something. My dream has always been to find a place where I can continue caring for cats while also creating a welcoming space for people. Having struggled with my own mental and physical health, I know how much a friendly face, a cup of tea and some animal companionship can mean.

I'd love to create somewhere that people—especially those who may be lonely, elderly or struggling—could come for a chat, a cuppa and some time with the cats.

Unfortunately, I don't have the funds to rent or buy a suitable space, but if anyone has land, outbuildings, unused space, or knows of opportunities where we could work together and support one another, I'd love to hear from you. I'm open to creative solutions and would be grateful for any ideas, connections or offers of help.

🐾💔 A Plea for Our Little Family 💔🐾

Our beautiful mum cat and her precious babies are finally safe and beginning to settle into foster care. After everything they've been through, they can now rest, feel warm, and know what it means to be cared for.

But we urgently need wet kitten food to help keep mum nourished while she feeds her growing babies. Nursing takes so much out of a mother, and good nutrition is vital for both her health and the kittens' survival.

As if that wasn't enough, we have been made aware of three more abandoned pregnant females who desperately need our help. We cannot turn our backs on them, but every rescue means more food, more veterinary care, and more resources that we simply don't have without your support.

Every pouch,donation, or share could make the difference between hunger and a full belly, between suffering and safety, between life and death for vulnerable cats and kittens.

Please, if you can help in any way, we would be so grateful. Together, we can give these mums and their babies the chance they deserve. ❤️🐱
