Big things start with small pages!

Our founder Irene has been out at a recent book fair in London, connecting with organisations, discovering new books, and building partnerships that help us do what we do best — get stories into the hands of children who need them most.

Thanks to the great teams at Book Aid International and Usborne Children's Books for your time!

Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support us:

👉 Your support helps us ship books to children in Uganda
👉 Your donations turn pages into possibilities
👉 Your shares help us reach even more people
If you believe every child deserves access to books, join us on this journey.

Happy World Book Day 2026!

While your little ones are at school in their World Book Day costumes, have a rummage round and see if there are any of their used books you can donate to us.

100% of donations end up in the hands of underprivileged children in who might otherwise have access to them.

✨📚 Little Learners, Big Dreams 📚✨
Our final day of visits ook us to Outspan Primary School in Kampala, meeting bright-eyed students aged 5–13

Their energy was contagious, and we were treated to another lovely welcome with song and dance. Once again, it was a privilege to see first hand just how much your donations of books mean to them. And there's another shipment on the way which should arrive by November! ❤️

💛📚 Day Two: Full of Heart in Kayunga 📚💛

After visiting Makuyu Primary earlier this week, we were back at Outspan Secondary School for our second visit this year, and it felt like coming home.

Seeing familiar faces, hearing new dreams, and getting updates on their studies were coming along was really encouraging.

And the show they put on for us was fantastic!

📚✨ Full Circle Moments in Uganda! ✨📚
This week, we visited Makuyu Primary School in Budadiri, Uganda — the very school where our Founder Irene’s mother studied as a child.

This was a true passing of the torch moment, and literally the reason we started the charity in memory of Irene's mother. The smiles, laughter, and excitement from the children reminded us that sometimes the things we take for granted are really appreciated by others.

Let’s keep turning pages together!

A MASSIVE thanks to Simon Langdon Grammar School for Boys in for their generous donation of books to our cause!

Also big thanks to the boys who somehow managed to lift them all into our car boot, and for setting it all up for us!

We're off to this week, so we'll be able to visit some of the kids who we've been sending books to. Stay tuned for updates!
