🕊️ June 19 – International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict

Conflict does not just destroy land—it breaks bodies, homes, and spirits. Today, we raise our voices for the survivors of sexual violence in war and crisis zones—those whose pain is often hidden behind shame, silence, and cultural stigma.

At 72 Paths Foundation, we believe in restoring dignity, justice, and healing—especially for those whose suffering is often overlooked in Asian, South Asian, and diaspora communities. Too many survivors are silenced by fear, cultural taboos, or lack of support. Today, we break that silence.

🔸 We remember the women and children targeted during conflict.
🔸 We honour the survivors who carry invisible scars.
🔸 We stand with those still waiting for justice.

Let’s not turn away. Let’s create safe spaces, educate our communities, and demand action—globally and locally.

Recently, we’ve encountered a few comments on our page that reflect misinformation, stereotypes, and harmful attitudes. We’d like to take a moment to reaffirm who we are and what we stand for.

72 Paths Foundation is inspired by the legacy of 72 individuals in history who stood for truth, justice, dignity, and moral courage — even in the face of overwhelming oppression. Our mission is to turn that spirit into meaningful action today through community service, dialogue, and values-based leadership.

This was the home of Aghaaz Vocational Training Centre, an initiative of Path to Humanity Foundation launched in Lahore.

In this space, we taught sewing. But more than that, we sowed hope, skill, and self-worth in the hearts of women determined to rise.
