🎖️ 💪🏼Representing When It Counts! 💪🏼🎖️

Huge congratulations to our amazing cadets who represented both the squadron and wing at region field day with pride, professionalism, and true teamwork! You’ve shown everyone exactly what we’re made of. 👏

Our Results:

🏆👏 Pride of Britain Awards 2025 👏🏆

Last night, 45 cadets and 4 staff members from Middlesex Wing were honoured to support the glamorous 26th Pride of Britain Awards dinner in London’s iconic West End.

With front-row views of the red carpet outside the prestigious five-star Grosvenor House Hotel, the cadets warmly welcomed a host of celebrities arriving for this star-studded celebration.

The event marked the grand finale of a nationwide search to recognise individuals who, in the words of the organisers, “consider themselves ordinary, but whose actions are truly extraordinary.” Every year, tens of thousands of nominations are submitted, and those invited to the ceremony represent the very best of courage, kindness, and selflessness.

While on duty, cadets also had the unique opportunity to meet some of their favourite stars from the world of sport and entertainment, an experience unmatched by any other youth organisation! 🤩

Farewell & Congratulations, CWO Nathaniel Jeffrey! 🎖️

After years of dedication, leadership, and service, we say a proud and heartfelt thank you to Cadet Warrant Officer Nathaniel Jeffrey, who has officially completed his cadet career with 14F (Northolt) Squadron RAF Air Cadets.

From joining at just 13 years old to rising through the ranks to CWO, Nathaniel has exemplified everything the Air Cadets stand for — commitment, excellence, and integrity. Over the years, he has inspired countless younger cadets, taken on every challenge with pride, and helped shape the future of our squadron.

Your impact will not be forgotten, and your legacy will live on in the cadets you’ve mentored and the squadron you’ve helped build.

We wish you every success in the next chapter of your journey — the skies are definitely not the limit. 💙✈️

Good luck at University and we look forward to having you back as a Civilian Instructor!

What a INTER SQUADRON LAWN BOWLS 🎱

What a fantastic day on the green!

In August marked the very first Inter Squadron Lawn Bowls Competition — and what an event it was! 🙌

An impressive 1846 squadron staff and cadets turned up to challenge the 14F staff and cadets, bringing the heat and plenty of friendly competition. 💥

The games were tight, the energy was high, but in the end...🏆 Team 14F clinched the victory! 🏆

Huge thanks to CI Steve Kirton and Court Park Bowls Club for the top-tier training sessions and use of the brilliant facilities — couldn’t have done it without you! 🙏

An amazing day had by all — here’s to many more! 🌟

🇵🇱Commemoration of Fallen Polish Airmen 🇵🇱

30 August 25 marked the annual and 64th Commemoration of Fallen Polish Airmen which was held at the Polish Air Force Memorial, South Ruislip, London. The ceremony was attended by Air Chief Marshal Harv Smyth in his first official capacity as the new Chief of the Air Staff together with Group Captain Lee Wales who assumed command of RAF Northolt on 1 August 25.

The Commemoration was an opportunity for the Chief of the Air Staff and Station Commander to meet with a number of UK and Polish dignitaries including Colonel Jarosław Neffe, Commander of the Multinational Air-Ground Integration School and Colonel Andrzej Truskowski, Vice Rector of the Polish Air Force University Dęblin, Poland together with a delegation of University cadets. National, civic and official wreaths were laid together with squadron wreaths laid by veterans or descendants of each Polish Bomber and Fighter squadron.

Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Harv Smyth said: “It was a real honour to represent the RAF at this year’s Commemoration. Poland is a key strategic NATO partner and I am keen to ensure that we deepen the linkages between our Air Forces and continue to build on this vital relationship”.

Northolt Station Commander, Group Captain Lee Wales added: “It is a privilege to Command RAF Northolt which continues to preserve its rich heritage and maintain close ties with both the local Polish community and Polish Air Force. Today’s Commemoration epitomised how incredibly important these relationships are and I look forward to further cooperation during my Command.”

14F Squadron cadets and staff were honoured to attend the ceremony, reflecting on and paying our respects to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice
