‘Our revels now are ended’ (for the Summer) ☀️ Term is finished and it’s time for us to unload our van, clean our costumes and get planning for September, and maybe have a little rest too! 🍦 Here is a small selection of photos from another great tour, with two companies out on the road. It was a hot one, and we’d like to thank all our audiences, the schools that hosted us, and our brilliant actors for always bringing their best. Special thank you to fans and ice lollies for keeping us going too. 🙏

On Monday, our Year 10 students had the absolute privilege of experiencing a live performance of Macbeth by the brilliant The Globe Players ! 🎭✨

The performance was exceptional, keeping our students completely enraptured from start to finish. Beyond the incredible acting, the cast did a fantastic job breaking down key moments, important scenes, and dramatic devices, giving everyone a thorough and practical understanding of one of their GCSE set texts. 📖✍️

A massive shoutout to Year 10—we could not be prouder of them! Their conduct was absolutely brilliant, perfectly emulating the behavior expected in a professional theatre setting. Well done, team! 👏👏

Happy birthday Will 🥳 Shakespeare was born 462 years ago today in this house 👀 We at the Globe Players are very glad he was! What would school be like if Shakespeare hadn’t written his plays? We are celebrating by performing ‘Macbeth’ and our introduction to Shakespeare ‘What You Will’ today ☀️
