The Damascus–Suwayda road is no longer a road of life… it has become a road of death.
Young Aya Salam was killed in a treacherous attack targeting a civilian bus carrying innocent passengers returning home.
Bullets tore through the bus, ending Aya’s dreams and the life of young Kamal Abdul Baqi, leaving others fighting for survival.
The attack took place in an area under the control of the regime’s “General Security” checkpoints — and the painful questions remain:
How long will this road be stained with the blood of innocents?
How long will lives be lost in silence and without justice?

May Aya and Kamal rest in peace. May the Damascus–Suwayda road no longer be a path of death.

In the heart of Suwayda, where destruction once silenced the streets, art now speaks with the voice of resilience. “Echo of Suwayda” reminds us that even when life is reduced to ashes, the human spirit finds a way to create, to heal, and to hope again. Every brushstroke carries a story — not of despair, but of endurance and love for life. Because art never dies; it is reborn with every heartbeat that refuses to give up.

He was not just a child… he was a cry of courage against massacre.
Salih Samir Akouan from Sweida resisted with his bare hands, refusing to watch his family slaughtered in silence.
A bullet ended his life, but his face and bravery will live forever in our hearts.

🚨 Enough is enough! Sweida’s women must be safe, and students must not be punished unfairly.

A new investigation by Amnesty International revealed that Syrian government forces and allied groups carried out extrajudicial field ex*****ons targeting 46 members of the Druze community (44 men and 2 women) in Sweida, on July 15 and 16, 2025.

These ex*****ons took place in various locations, including a public square, residential homes, a school, a hospital, and a ceremonial hall. The acts, committed by individuals seen in verified footage wearing military or security uniforms—some displaying official insignia—constitute crimes against humanity under international law.

The violations were documented through 22 verified videos and images analyzed by Amnesty’s Digital Evidence Lab, in addition to eyewitness accounts and testimonies from victims’ families. Degrading practices against Druze civilians were also recorded, such as forcibly shaving their mustaches.
