Dental Aid Network Dental Aid Network was created in 2014 to serve impoverished and war-torn regions of the world.

Our teams have provided essential care in The Gambia, Palestine, Kashmir, Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Greece, Afghanistan, camps in Jordan and Lebanon.

Join us for an inspiring evening of connection and solidarity at the DEAN Charity Dinner & Networking Event.

It's been quite a year for Dental Aid Network, with first time missions in Afghanistan and Syria, and continuation of our annual visits to Kashmir and Palestine.
Over a thousand patients have been assessed and treated.

Thanks to all our UK volunteers and the charities and volunteers on the ground who have made the missions possible.

KASHMIR 2025

🔈 Calling Volunteers 🔈

We are looking for a further 2-4 volunteers to complete our team travelling to Kashmir, Pakistan in October!
Dentists will be required to provide emergency dental treatment, direct restorations, oral surgery and oral health education.

VOLUNTEERS MUST BE:
- UK GDC Registered
- Post VT/DF1 Year

Details:
- Arrive in Pakistan/Kashmir on the 8th October.
- Last day of clinics 16th October.

AFGHANISTAN 2025

We ended the week with a CPD event for the dentists and students of the teaching hospital in Kabul, with presentations on modern caries management, paediatric dentistry and oral surgery. All the attendants were eager to learn and to be able to use new techniques on their patients. We hope to further help in their education virtually working alongside other organisations.

Afghanistan has been a pleasure to visit. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. Looking forward to trips in the future!

AFGHANISTAN 2025

DAN’s female team were sent to a rural area on the outskirts of Kabul to deliver dental aid to a girls’ madrasa. The male volunteers worked at a boys’ orphanage in Kabul. Access to dental care for children in both areas is limited and dental decay is prevalent.

As well as delivering urgent care, time was spent delivering oral hygiene and diet advice to educate the children and their carers.

The children did great and were extremely cooperative!
