It's begun - the first lot of cubs has been handed over to us after initially being taken to a cat rescue as it was assumed they were young kittens. Very unusual circumstances surrounding this group as they were found inside a cardboard box at a small wooded area outside a primary school on a very busy road before subsequently being passed onto the cat rescue. It sounds likely based on the information we've had that these cubs have been dumped by someone, so could technically have come from absolutely anywhere, thus making any attempt at reuniting impossible. We'll ensure the cubs get well looked after and find the best release site for them, but our concern is with mum who is now cub-less and at risk of mastitis. Assuming of course the mum is still alive.
The first cubs of the season have coincided with a sudden influx in the number of jobs requiring traps as well, with 11 outstanding jobs at the moment we have to get traps sorted for that have all come in this week, so we have our work cut out for us at the moment and your patience is appreciated as it may take us longer to respond to messages, emails, get homeopathic remedies out and of course get traps out. We'll do our best to get on top of all of these, and keep you updated in the process.
We are in need of some puppy milk/some pads for toileting the cubs. If you'd like to purchase some from our Amazon wish list then you can find link to comments below. As always, donations are greatly appreciated, no matter the amount as it all adds up and will help with our ever increasing overheads. Again, details can be found below. Thank you.
