Lumenis Theatre Company is casting for Lightstreams, a new play by Mary Mazzilli exploring the lived experiences of migrant care workers, directed by Richard Bland, supported by Arts Council England. Auditions and rehearsals will be based in Colchester!
Who we are looking for:

We are specifically seeking three actors/performers with a migrant background.

Though not exclusively, First generation migrant actors whose first language is not English are particularly encouraged.

🔹 HERMIA: 20s-30s playing age. Female identifying/presenting.
🔹 MAURICE: 20s-30s playing age. Male identifying/presenting.
🔹 DARYA: 50+ playing age (playing late 70s). Female identifying/presenting.
The Details:
Pay: £625 p/w + £35 p/d rehearsal subsistence. (6-week contract: 3 wks rehearsal, 3 wks touring).
Rehearsals: W/C 14th Sept in Colchester.
Touring: Oct/Nov 2026 across England & Wales.
