Our hearts are deeply saddened by reports that around 10 Rohingya girls from Kint Taung Village, Buthidaung Township, were forcibly taken by members of the Arakan Army on March 11, 2026. According to local residents, armed members entered the village and abducted these young Rohingya girls without any explanation. Since then, their families have been living in fear and uncertainty, not knowing where their daughters have been taken or what condition they are in.

To my community,
At the same time, we as a community remain busy with many dreams and tasks: forming organizations, setting positions, opening community schools, and planning for a better future. Yet this painful incident forces us to ask ourselves a difficult question: what is the value of our education, our organizations, and our positions if we cannot protect the dignity and reputation of our own sisters?

This is not only a tragedy for the families; it is a wound to the honor of our entire community. Their tears remind us of our responsibility to stand united and protect one another.

We pray for the safety of these girls and urge responsible authorities and human rights organizations to investigate the incident and ensure their safe and immediate return to their families.

Mabrook! ๐ŸŽ“
A proud moment for the Rohingya community.

๐Ÿฅ‡ Hafiz Mohammad Kamal bin Sirajul Islam secured 1st position across Bangladesh with 946/1000 marks, while

๐Ÿฅˆ Mohammed Saad bin Ustad Nur Ahmad achieved 2nd position in the Final Examination of the Academic Year 2026 under the Bangladesh Private Islamic University Federation.

From the hardships of displacement to the heights of Islamic scholarship,
their dedication to the Qurโ€™an, Hadith, and Islamic knowledge has led them to this extraordinary achievement and their achievement reflects the resilience, faith, and determination of Rohingya youth.

May Allah bless their knowledge and make them among those who serve Islam and the Ummah.

Justice for Camp 09, Block G-31
Today, our community witnessed a grave injustice that cannot be ignored. Donors from Turkey kindly provided 6,000 taka per family in Camp 09, Block G-31, intended for the children to buy clothes and shoes for Eid ul-Fitr. This act of generosity was meant to bring joy to our families and support the children during this special occasion.
However, after the donors left, the Majhi of this block, named Imran, took advantage of this situation. He collected the full 6,000 taka from each family, but then only returned 2,000 taka to each family, keeping 4,000 taka for himself. This is not just a misuse of power it is a betrayal of the trust that our people placed in their own community leaders. Families who already struggle with poverty and hardship were robbed of their rightful support.

Our people have been enduring years of suffering, displacement, and uncertainty. We depend on fairness, honesty, and the integrity of those who claim to lead or serve us. Yet here, we see exploitation and manipulation from within. It is deeply concerning that those who should protect and support the vulnerable are instead taking advantage of them.

We also ask why political organizations, activists, and leaders remain silent in this matter. Many of these organizations promise justice and support for our people, yet when an injustice occurs in our very own camps, no one speaks up. Silence in the face of wrongdoing is a form of complicity. If the educated, aware, and responsible members of our community do not raise their voices, then who will?

This is not only about 4,000 taka. It is about principle, accountability, and the message we send to future generations. If our youth see that those in power can take advantage of the innocent without consequences, what lessons are we teaching them? How can we expect fairness and respect to survive in our community if corruption and exploitation go unchecked?

We call upon all members of our community, all activists, leaders, and those who care for justice, to raise your voices. Stand against this injustice. Speak out for the families who were exploited. Demand accountability from the Majhis and anyone else who abuses their power.

Justice is not just a wordโ€”it is a right. Every member of our community deserves protection, fairness, and honesty from those in positions of trust. Together, we must ensure that no one is above the law, no one can exploit the vulnerable, and that our people can live with dignity, especially in times of need.
We demand justice for Camp 09, Block G-31. We demand transparency, fairness, and respect for every family. And we remind everyone: the fight against injustice begins with us, with our voices, and our willingness to stand for what is right.
Raise your voice. Demand justice. Protect our community.
* He took 4 thousand taka from more than 50 Families of that block.

Once again has announced a drastic cut to the monthly rations for the Rohingya refugees. The cut will be effective from 1st April 2026.

This time the cut comes with a rigorously stratified model fittingly titled as โ€œTargeting and Prioritisation Exercise (RSE).

It is good that more vulnerable have been prioritised but the problem is the able-bodied also need enough food to survive. Even the current amount of food ($12) is barely sufficient and this near-halving of ration means near-doubling of our hunger.

A disabled 56-year-old Rohingya refugee was found dead in Buffalo, New York, after U.S. Border Patrol abandoned him miles from his home.
Nurul Amin Shah Alam was 56 years old and almost completely blind. His family says he could not speak English.

Shah Alam had been arrested in February 2024 after wandering onto private property. He was using a curtain rod he had just purchased as a guide stick, which police reportedly saw as a weapon. After being held in detention for a year, he was released to U.S. Border Patrol custody. But his family says they were not contacted, and instead of escorting Shah Alam home, Border Control left him at a coffee shop miles away.

Shah Alam and his family arrived in the U.S. as refugees from Myanmarโ€™s Rakhine state, where Myanmarโ€™s military has been conducting a brutal crackdown against ethnic Rohingya Muslims since 2017 โ€“ razing hundreds of villages, killing thousands and forcing over 700,000 Rohingya to flee to other countries, mostly Bangladesh. Myanmarโ€™s military is currently on trial for genocide at the UNโ€™s World Court.

Noor Kolima is a shining example of strength in the Rohingya community. Without parents or close support, she courageously cares for her disabled brother while working hard to build a better future for herself.

Despite facing many challenges, she continues her journey with hope, faith, and determination. Insha Allah, we will stand by her side and share her story to inspire others to support those in need and create positive change together.

Resilience Through Faith ๐Ÿค

In the refugee camps of Coxโ€™s Bazar, during this blessed Month of the Qurโ€™an, more than two dozen Rohingya girls have graduated as Hafizas, completing the memorization of the entire Holy Qurโ€™an despite hardship, displacement, and limited resources.

In the very month in which the Qurโ€™an was revealed, Allah honored them with becoming guardians of His Book. ๐Ÿคฒ
