In The Truth Is a Blur in Motion, seventeen artists of Polish origin or heritage explore the shifting nature of reality through material, memory, and motion. This exhibition brings together painting, sculpture, and framed works that embody tension between stability and instability, clarity and ambiguity, heritage and reinvention.
The works reveal a shared sensitivity to impermanence, whether through abstract repetition, decaying found objects, tangled wires, or symbolic dualities. Across these pieces, we encounter forms that are transitional and unsettled: synthetic eyes emerge from fragile debris; cables pulse like exposed nerves; colour becomes a code for dual identity. In each case, “truth” resists resolution. It flickers between presence and absence, the seen and the concealed.
Unified by their Polish roots and participation in the Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain, the exhibiting artists reframe personal and cultural narratives through experimentation with form and material. Together, they invite us to experience truth not as a fixed point, but as a fluid force, blurred, in motion, and deeply felt.
