Join us at Bourne Hall tomorrow for the next part in our Called to Rest series which will be an all age service starting at 10:30am. 🙌

Coffee and Pastries in the foyer from 10am ☕️🥐

After the service, we will have a Picnic in Bourne Hall Park! Please bring food to enjoy and share and a picnic rug or chair if we’re outside. If the weather isn’t kind, we’ll move indoors and eat together in the foyer where we usually have tea and coffee. There will also be water games for all ages, so bring a change of clothes if you’d like to join in! 🧺🥪😎

May we use our God given gifts and listen to the Holy Spirit’s prompting to serve and encourage others. This will help them to grow and flourish where God has placed them and allow them to give back to others too.

It was great being back at Bourne Hall yesterday.

We had fantastic service filled with worship, an awesome time of prayer, a “guess the worship song” game and a beautiful poem by Carole.

Fiona’s message on 1 Kings:19 and the story of Elijah was an encouraging reminder that rest is not laziness and God provides what we need we we need it and He keeps giving to us - more than we deserve!

A reminder that there will be no service at Bourne Hall tomorrow (9 August). Instead, we’re looking forward to gathering together for our Church Picnic in Nonsuch Park!

This Sunday’s picnic will continue our theme of Called to Rest. Rest isn’t only about stopping, it also looks like joy, friendship, food, laughter and simply being together. We hope you’ll come and enjoy a relaxed time as church family. Please bring a folding chair or picnic rug, your picnic lunch and any games you’d like to play. There is plenty of free parking nearby, including opposite the Nonsuch Park Hotel (///jungle.dollar.carbon), Mansion House car park, and near Cheam Village (///skips.cheek.beyond)

Our lives are full! Sometimes distracted. We’re often tired. Seemingly connected, yet often restless.

What if rest is more than a day off? What if rest is something your soul was created for?

This August is going to look a little different in terms of our Sunday Services, as we explore Jesus’ invitation to slow down, trust Him, and discover a deeper kind of rest.
