The aim of the organisation is to improve the conditions of lives of disadvantaged people in particular BAME women and children in Barking & Dagenham and other London Boroughs. The objectives of the organisation are : prevention or relief of poverty; advancement of education, health or the saving of lives; advancement of citizenship or community development; advancement of arts, culture, heritage,
science and sports; advancement of human rights, promotion of racial harmony or equality and diversity; advancement of environmental protection or improvement; relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; other purposes currently recognised as charitable and any new charitable purposes. The organisation is started in February 2007 by a group of Minority Ethnic women to support their children in education. They continued running a supplementary school for five years at Rogers Road Church and Fanshawe Community Centre. Later the organisation has broaden its activities involving local communities of all ages and genders. The organisation arranges classes, workshops, seminars, employment training, advice sessions, sports coaching, music classes and activities to advance arts, culture and heritage. It provides advice on housing, domestic violence and claiming benefits and other legal rights.
