The Great Post-Exam Debrief! 🎉

The Maths department were out in force on the forecourt this afternoon, greeting students fresh from their final A Level Maths exam! It was a brilliant moment filled with smiles, relief, and plenty of congratulations—a chance for students and teachers to celebrate all their hard work together, say their goodbyes, and wish each other every success for the exciting road ahead.

🏆 Tennis Success for Chis & Sid! 🎾

We’re thrilled to announce that all four Chis & Sid tennis teams have successfully progressed to the LTA Youth Kent Schools Finals, taking place next week in Canterbury.

A huge well done to the teams:

Year 7 & 8 Girls
Year 9 & 10 Girls
Year 7 & 8 Boys
Year 9 & 10 Boys

This is a brilliant achievement and reflects the dedication, teamwork, and talent across all age groups. We wish all teams the very best of luck in the finals!

Yesterday, six of our students competed in the District Golf Competition at Sidcup Golf Club .

Our team came 2nd of eight teams, with Sid (9W) winning the individual Stapleford competition.

Tennis:

Congratulations to the Bexley team who picked up bronze medals in the London Youth Games over the weekend.

Chis and Sid fielded one of the main squad players -

Ethan C - year 10 - he was actually the boy involved in the deciding mixed doubles shoot out match.

Two of the reserves were also from Chis and Sid -

Jamie X - year 9
Isla G - year 9

Mrs Coxall said "We had the best day on Sunday!! It was soooo exciting and emotional. It all came down to one mixed doubles shoot out match to whether we got a medal or not in the third and fourth place play offs!"

CSGS through to the regional finals of the Knight-Stokes Cup!

On Friday 12th June, the Chis and Sid U15s team competed in the regional semi finals of the Barclays Knight Stokes County Cup. We played two games; our first game was against Invicta Grammar school. We won by 53 runs – Chis scoring 98-2, Invicta scoring 45-9.

In our second game of the day we faced Tonbridge Grammar School and it was incredibly close – could have gone either way. In the last over it came down to the last ball we needed to score 1 run to win. Tonbridge scored 68-3, Chis scored 69-3 meaning we won by 7 wickets!

Miss Evans said "It was a fantastic day of cricket and I couldn’t be prouder of the girls for their effort and achievement."

We have progressed onto the Regional Finals of the competition which is taking place on Monday 29th June!
