Chis and Sid is thrilled to be the 17th leading state school in London for A Level results by percentage of grades A*/B and the 53rd leading state school in the UK and NI, as per the A Level results table published by The Times, 14th August 2026.

A LEVEL RESULTS 2026

Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School is delighted to announce that the class of 2026 have achieved a formidable set of A Level results, surpassing the school’s previous records.

A phenomenal 78.6% of grades were awarded at A*-B. The overall pass mark is 99.6% for 2026.
• A* grades - 14%
• A*- A grades – 44.6%

Once again we are Bexley's No.1 school for A Level results.

79 students have achieved at least 3 A*/A grades, representing approximately 27% of the total cohort.

Fifteen students have been awarded places at Oxbridge or to read Medicine or Veterinary Medicine.

164 students have been placed with Russell Group Universities before clearing.

50% or more of students received grade A* or A in the following seven subject areas:
• Product Design with 73% A*/A grades
• Latin with 67% A*/A grades
• English Literature with 63% A*/A grades
• French with 60% A*/A grades
• EPQ with 59% A*/A grades
• Mathematics with 54% A*/A grades
• Further Mathematics 54% A*/A grades

Northern Tanzania update:

A final update from Team 2 - We are heading home today but had an excellent final day, we had the final assembly with the school where we thanked them for their hospitality and then had a cooking class before eating our lunch and heading off to spend our final shillings in the souvenir shops.

Some of our students just can't keep away during the holidays!

A huge thank you to Annalie, Max, Melissa, Rosabel and Sophia, who have been in school over the last few days, hard at work in Room 17 sorting out the costumes cupboard, which had started to overflow after the many and varied school productions over the years.

Miss Webb has also created an inventory spreadsheet, and every item is being logged before being returned to the cupboard. This will make costume allocation for future productions much easier and more efficient.

The team has come across some weird and wonderful items, along with plenty that can now be discarded. Keep an eye out for their "Weirdest Finds" list, coming soon!

There is usually a dedicated costume team or wardrobe master/mistress for each school production, and we're incredibly grateful for the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to help bring performances to life.
