Paladin National Stalking Advocacy Service

Paladin National Stalking Advocacy Service Paladin is a trauma-informed service established to assist high risk victims of stalking in England and Wales.

Paladin assists high risk victims of stalking throughout England and Wales. A number of Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworkers (ISACs) ensure high risk victims of stalking are supported and that a coordinated community response is developed locally to keep victims and their children safe. Stalkers steal lives and also take lives, if their behaviour remains unchecked and they are allowed to esca

late. In many cases this has resulted in serious violence, r**e and in some cases murder. This is about homicide prevention and this unique stalking advocacy service will not only save lives, it will also save money by ensuring a co-ordinated response and the appropriate support for victims. Before referring a case to Paladin, please visit our referrals page for further information at http://paladinservice.co.uk/advice-for-victims/referring-cases-to-paladin/

DAY 4

Fatal Fixation: Knowledge is power

At Hollie Gazzard Trust, we know all too well that fixated, obsessive behaviour can end in fatality. After Hollie ended her relationship with her controlling and jealous ex-partner he bombarded her with calls, threats and he monitored her. His controlling behaviour escalated into stalking quickly – within 2 days of being reported to police by Hollie, he walked into the hair salon where she was working and stabbed her to death.

Identifying stalking and safeguarding those at risk is ESSENTIAL if we want to prevent what happened to Hollie from happening to others. That’s why Hollie Gazzard Trust has launched a brand new initiative to help employers and workplaces identify stalking to help protect staff, customers and service users.

Delivered in ā€˜lunch and learn’ format, our digital toolkits are a realistically priced, convenient and easily accessible means of educating workforces about the warning signs of high risk behaviour that can so often be missed.
