NYDC is England's flagship youth dance company, bringing together young people from across the country to create and perform inspiring work.

The National Youth Dance Company aims to create and perform innovative and influential dance, bringing together some of the brightest young talent from across England to work with Sadler's Wells renowned Associate Artists.

🔔NYDC RESIDENTIAL SUMMER SCHOOL NOW LIVE🔔

For the sixth year we will be running a residential summer school for disabled and non disabled dancers aged 16-24.

This summer school will give dancers an insight into NYDC, living and rehearsing together as a company for 4 days. This year we will be joined by artists from Alleyne Dance, Hofesh Schecter and Stopgap Dance Company.

When: 23 - 26 August 2026

Where: University of Warwick and Warwick Arts Centre Coventry, CV4 7AL.

We encourage d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent dancers in particular to apply.

Join our team! We are looking for an NYDC Engagement Manager (maternity cover). The role will look after programmes such as our Nationwide Schools Programme, NYDC Summer Schools, National Workshops and alumni projects. It’s part time (three days a week). If you’re a dancer aged 16-18 (or up to 24 if d/Deaf or disabled) and want to join NYDC, taking part in an experience workshop is the first step.

You’ll also build your skills, meet likeminded dancers and learn repertoire from Memory Keepers. All experience levels and dance styles welcome!
