🫂Roots4Life have loved working in partnership with Shooters Hill College this year to host students for work place experiences and voluntary work

🙏🏽We had over 40 students giving free facials, hair cuts and massages to our service users and had a catering student helping cooking for our Warm Hub for the past year. It has been a really rewarding experience for both us and students.

🤔 It can be a real challenge for sixth form students to find meaningful work experience and engage in the local community as well as to find work afterwards.

👏🏽 Offering work experience or vocational opportunities can also be rewarding for your charity or organisation and it creates a wonderful community dynamic for different generations to meet and engage.

✂️The Roots4Life saloon was heaving with 60 appointments for manicures, pedicures, hair cuts and curls and massages managed.

😍The level of customer care was amazing and one of our attendees said "Today lifted me up and made me feel a better person than before ."

🥰 Lovely free Community Meal last week with over 80 people attending 🥰

🙏🏽 Thank you to all our amazing volunteers - we could not run these events for our local community without you.

🐸 It was wonderful to welcome our green frog friends at

🆘 We need your help - there is so much demand for our services especially on a Weds. We really need volunteers who are able to come a bit later on a Weds and help with the clean up. We also have a plate shortage so if you have run a cafe or catering company we need unchipped white plates. They don't need to be fancy but hard working as they get a lot of use.

🧑🏻‍🍳 And thanks to Head Chef Kat - we could not run these days without your endless planning, cooking and kind words to all
