Adoptions are officially open for these 4 absolutely stunning kittens.

Pumpkin and spice 🐈 🐈 they are 2 brothers (ginger and white) who are the most playful adventurous kittens who spend most of their time trying to figure out what they can do to cause trouble. They are very affectionate and cuddly and absolutely love attention. They will need to be rehomed together. They can be rehomed with dogs other cats and children.

Fifi 🐈‍⬛ she is their sister and although she has some play in her she is so much more relaxed than her brothers and spend her days trying to work out the best spot to take a nap. She enjoys being pampered and is very chill. She would benefit from a home with another relaxed cat in the home who could give her company. She can be rehomed with other cats, dogs and children.

Callie 🐱 she is the funniest little thing and the only time she sits still is when she is eating. She is so full of energy and so playful, but also she is so affectionate. Callie loves a cuddle and will rub her whole body all over you to make sure you know you belong to her. She would benefit from another young cat who would be happy to play with her. Because of her extremely playful nature and her use of claws we feel she would not be good in a home with children under 10 years old. However could be rehomed with a cat savvy dog.

❤️A Small Ask That Could Make A Huge Difference❤️

We hate asking you guys for help, but today we need to once again.

Far too often we answer calls about cats that have been abandoned, neglected, hungry, injured, scared, or simply forgotten. We do everything we can to help them, no matter how full we are or how difficult the situation may be.

Behind every rescue is equipment, transport, vet visits, food, cleaning supplies, and countless unseen costs that make it possible for us to continue helping cats in need.

Right now, we need to raise £256.18 for some essential equipment that will help us continue our rescue work safely and effectively.

For a large organisation, £256.18 may not seem like much. For a small rescue like ours, it feels like a mountain.

If every one of our wonderful followers donated just £1, we would reach our target in no time.

Today we had pumpkin, spice, fifi and peaches in to have vaccines. I didn’t get photos of fifi on the vet table as she was a little explorer and needed both hands. They was all vaccinated and microchipped and will be ready for rehoming from Friday onwards. Look at the floofs on the babies 🥰😍🥹

For anyone awaiting microchip transfers please bare with us. Our vets uses this company and so all the chips are on here. We unfortunately can not access the account or transfer any chips and it has been like this for over 2 weeks now. We will try and get all your microchips transferred as soon as we can. All of us at RRATS cats rescue apologies for any inconvenience caused by this. And as soon as the site is back up and running we will work to transfer the cats to your names. In the meantime our details are registered and the vets they was implanted at so to give you peace of mind we will be contacted if any are found wandering for any reason and we will reunite you. I have called them multiple times and they keep telling me it will be back up soon. Again sorry for the delays.

🐾 A heartbreaking but hopeful rescue story this morning… 🐾

This morning, I received a call from a lovely lady who works for Peabody. Earlier today, a Peabody employee discovered this tiny kitten at the dump. Sadly, another kitten was not so fortunate and was seen in the mouth of a fox. 💔

Thankfully, this little girl was rescued and brought to us here at RRATS Cats Rescue. Although we are currently full and really don’t have the space, we knew that if we didn’t take her, she could face the same fate as her sibling. There was no way we could leave her behind.

She is an absolute sweetheart – a real snuggle bug who just wants to be held and cuddled. She’s full of purrs and gives lots of little licks, and surprisingly has no signs of fleas. Given her condition and friendly nature, we believe she may have been dumped.

We would like to make a heartfelt plea to anyone struggling with kittens or unable to find homes for them: please contact a rescue for help. There are people and organisations willing to advise, support, and assist wherever possible.

Please do not dump cats or kittens. Being abandoned leaves them frightened, vulnerable, and at risk of injury, starvation, disease, or predation. Every cat deserves the chance to be safe and cared for.

Thank you to the Peabody staff member who stopped to help and made sure this little girl got to safety. ❤️

For now, she’s safe, warm, loved, and beginning her new journey with us.

💔 We never wanted to write this post… but RRATS Cats Rescue desperately needs your help. 💔

Right now, we are struggling more than ever financially, and for the first time, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close our doors to new cats needing rescue. We also have cats already waiting to come into our care that we simply cannot afford to help right now.

Every single day we are fighting to keep going.

We currently have cats waiting for vaccinations so they can finally be rehomed into loving forever homes — but without donations, we cannot afford the vet care they need. Until they are vaccinated, they cannot move on, which means spaces stay full, and more cats are left waiting with nowhere safe to go.

Rescue is not just cuddles and happy endings. It is vet bills, food, litter, medication, emergency care, and sleepless nights worrying how we are going to manage another week.

We hate asking for help, but today we truly need our community.

If every person reading this could donate even £1, it would make a huge difference to the cats relying on us. If you cannot donate, please share this post — your share could reach the person who can help save our rescue.

🐭💕 These 3 stunning girls are looking for their forever home together as a trio.

We don’t often rehome small mammals, but when we see animals in need, we step in to help. These lovely females came into our care after their owner’s child developed severe skin issues, meaning they sadly could no longer keep them.

They are a little skittish at first, but they can be handled and with time, patience, and love we’re sure they’ll continue to grow in confidence.
