This week I have been supporting my Fiancé Captured By Jess Events with fundraising and supporting be families of the Mitcham fire which happened Saturday 25th july.

Whilst at wimbledon fire station helping to fundraise for the fire fighters charity we heard the devastating news that our block of houses were on fire! We rushed home and were so lucky our home wasnt effected but sadly so many of our neighbours lost their homes!

I met a man called josh standing there in shorts and nothing to his name watching his home burn to ground with his 12year old daughter in tears! As a man and a father i cannot imagine that pain!

There were so many people effected by this fire and this included so many fathers 💔

Myself and Jessica have spent the week supporting people finically and physically running a donation hub for families to collect essential needs and clothes and helping to give them a voice and have access to services and advice.

I wanted to share this to raise awareness and reach out to anyone who can help and support

We have a fundraiser currently set up and there are 13 family's currently homeless and in hotels that we are supporting

Mini fans would also be good!

Pamper kits / face masks

Socks for men women and children

Mitcham Fundraising Event - This Sunday 💙

It’s that time again! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Every year we run the Fathers funday for Fathers to come down and enjoy a day of activities with the children and get a break from the pressures of adulthood! lol

This was an event originally run for fathers by fathers but in light of the recent fire in mitcham and the current fundraising we are doing we decided to open to EVERYONE! 🙏

Let’s get as many people there and raise some money for two amazing causes!

We have lots of activities planned on the day to keep everyone having lots of fun! 🤩 🥳😍😍

Myself and my partner have been focusing on supporting the families of the Mitcham fire this week so haven’t been able to advertise the event or share it so I ask if you could please support and share the event with family and friends!

Another year another father’s Funday!!! 💙🥳💥

Every year we run the Fathers funday for Fathers to come down and enjoy a day of activities with the children and get a break from the pressures of adulthood! lol

As many already know there are lots of mum and child events and playgroups / support groups ect hence why the charity was founded for fathers 👊🏾
The event is for fathers only however partners are welcome to join but we do not allow entry to mothers only as we receive funding to support dads.
So please be aware you will unfortunately be turned away if you attend without dad.

We have lots of activities planned on the day to keep everyone having lots of fun! 🤩 🥳😍😍

Another look into how the Fatherhood Hub has been going! 🙌🏽

We had a games night with a variety of different games that brought the dads together for an evening full of laughter, banter, and some seriously competitive moments 😂🎲🏆

Whether it was friendly rivalry or teaming up to take on a challenge, the room was filled with great energy from start to finish.

As always, the sessions are all about creating a relaxed and welcoming space 🤝🏽💙.

Good vibes ✨
Good music 🎶
Good conversations 🗣️
and good food 🍕🍗

All that's needed for a great evening and an opportunity for dads to connect, unwind, and support one another.

What stood out most was how something so simple turned into one of our best sessions yet 🙏🏽. It was a reminder that it’s not always about having a packed agenda or big activities sometimes it’s simply about the people in the room, the connections being made, and the sense of community that continues to grow 🌱💪🏽.

A great evening all round, and we’re looking forward to many more memories, laughs, and meaningful conversations to come! 🙌🏽🔥💙

What an evening… and one I definitely didn’t see coming! 🤯✨

I still can’t believe I won an award for Inspirational Father of the Year!! 😭🙌🏽🏆

It may not have been the main award, but receiving a Highly Commended Award means just as much to me ❤️

I’ve never really shared my full story, but this is something I’ve quietly wanted for years… especially through all the self-doubt and doubt from others along the way 💭

It was such an incredible night, and I’m truly grateful to and the judges for the recognition 🙏🏽✨

Even more special was being nominated alongside my beautiful future wife 💍💙
Watching her get recognised for all the amazing work she does for the community and low-income families made me so proud 🥹💙💙

So good to see my bro too 👊🏽💙
Huge congrats to on winning the Young Visionary Award 👏🏽🥂
Finally meeting 🙌🏽😂

I’m incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2026 Community, Corporate & Culture Awards tomorrow 🎉🎉

Being recognised among so many inspiring individuals making a real impact is truly an honour.

Being a finalist for this particular award is holds meaning to me as being a father is the most important role I have 💯

I look forward to celebrating this achievement and being able to experience another award ceremony

Yesterday I was given the opportunity to be able to share my views and thoughts on the way we can make services more inclusive for fathers at the Fatherhood Support & Engagement Conference 💪🏼

The event was what it set out to be with many other great organisations and fathers attending that are making a difference to fathers lives such as , futuremen, epec

It's good to see that there's a shift in wanting fathers to be more involved and to feel like dads do matter as for many dads feel that we aren't seen as much as we would like.

From not being the first point of call with parenting, not having much support or even being recognised as needing support, feeling like we need to take a backseat to mum when it comes to managing our childrens day to day needs and so much more that just unfortunately isn't spoken about.

This wasnt just an everyday conference, this was a place that allowed open discussions on the importance of inclusion for Dads and Mens Mental Health as well as a day or educating one another and being the first part of making a positive change for fathers.

It was a honour to be a part of such an incredible event thank you 💙🙏🏽

Today Stand Up Fathers will be in the building at the Fathers & Male Conference in Croydon 🙌🏾

It’s set to be an amazing day filled with powerful conversations, community vibes and real support for the men and fathers in our borough. There’ll be stalls, live entertainment, inspiring guest speakers and so much more all focused on uplifting, empowering and celebrating fatherhood.

I’m truly honoured to have been invited to sit on the panel, where I’ll be sharing my thoughts, experiences and perspectives on fatherhood, and discussing practical ways we can better support dads across the Croydon community.

Fatherhood matters. Presence matters. Community matters.
