What an evening… and one I definitely didn’t see coming! 🤯✨

I still can’t believe I won an award for Inspirational Father of the Year!! 😭🙌🏽🏆

It may not have been the main award, but receiving a Highly Commended Award means just as much to me ❤️

I’ve never really shared my full story, but this is something I’ve quietly wanted for years… especially through all the self-doubt and doubt from others along the way 💭

It was such an incredible night, and I’m truly grateful to and the judges for the recognition 🙏🏽✨

Even more special was being nominated alongside my beautiful future wife 💍💙
Watching her get recognised for all the amazing work she does for the community and low-income families made me so proud 🥹💙💙

So good to see my bro too 👊🏽💙

I’m incredibly proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2026 Community, Corporate & Culture Awards tomorrow 🎉🎉

Being recognised among so many inspiring individuals making a real impact is truly an honour.

Being a finalist for this particular award is holds meaning to me as being a father is the most important role I have 💯

I look forward to celebrating this achievement and being able to experience another award ceremony

Yesterday I was given the opportunity to be able to share my views and thoughts on the way we can make services more inclusive for fathers at the Fatherhood Support & Engagement Conference 💪🏼

The event was what it set out to be with many other great organisations and fathers attending that are making a difference to fathers lives such as , futuremen, epec

It's good to see that there's a shift in wanting fathers to be more involved and to feel like dads do matter as for many dads feel that we aren't seen as much as we would like.

From not being the first point of call with parenting, not having much support or even being recognised as needing support, feeling like we need to take a backseat to mum when it comes to managing our childrens day to day needs and so much more that just unfortunately isn't spoken about.

This wasnt just an everyday conference, this was a place that allowed open discussions on the importance of inclusion for Dads and Mens Mental Health as well as a day or educating one another and being the first part of making a positive change for fathers.

It was a honour to be a part of such an incredible event thank you 💙🙏🏽

Today Stand Up Fathers will be in the building at the Fathers & Male Conference in Croydon 🙌🏾

It’s set to be an amazing day filled with powerful conversations, community vibes and real support for the men and fathers in our borough. There’ll be stalls, live entertainment, inspiring guest speakers and so much more all focused on uplifting, empowering and celebrating fatherhood.

I’m truly honoured to have been invited to sit on the panel, where I’ll be sharing my thoughts, experiences and perspectives on fatherhood, and discussing practical ways we can better support dads across the Croydon community.

Fatherhood matters. Presence matters. Community matters.

Over the past couple of months, the Fatherhood Hub has been growing steadily with new dads joining in, and I couldn't be more thrilled 🙌🏽📈

The dads have shared how much the group has positively impacted their lives and is something they eagerly look forward to. Having a space to connect with others and a place that's just for them really makes a difference

To be honest, it feels like one big family. Everyone gets along and welcomes each other with no judgement... just good vibes and a willingness to get to know one another

If you're a dad and think this is something that may benefit you, you're more than welcome to join us

We meet on the 1st Monday of every month from 7-9:30 at Phipps Bridge Youth Centre in Mitcham.

FATHERHOOD HUB IS BACK! 🎉

Another month and another amazing Fathers meet up 👏🏽

TONIGHT AT 7PM!

I Have been working hard to build an environment for men (fathers) to come, socialise & chat, and to give and receive support and advice and overall get a break from their everyday norm and responsibilities!

Month 1 - i only 1 dad showed, my partner felt like he just wouldnt be able to reach dads and really struggled to get them to connect and get involved

Month 2- i had 4 amazing dads join the group.👊🏾
Month 3 - he was blessed with 10 dads in the group! 🙏

Now we are at month 4!!! And so hyped to have the dads back and hopefully see some new ones!

Now one thing that is SO AMAZING about this group...

NONE of the men you see in the photos below had EVER met before coming to this group, they welcomed one another, respected one another and supported one another, laughed, joked, shared stories and experiances, gave advice and bonded through similar stories and that's what this group is all about!

So come on down tonight to phipps bridge youth centre anytime between 7 & 8.30pm
And get involved ALL DADS ARE WELCOME (not just coparenting)

So please share and tell your Brothers, uncles, cousins, nephews, sons & friends to come and enjoy some fathers downtime!

Feeling really grateful to be nominated , especially for something around fatherhood 💙

Anyone who knows me knows that being a dad means everything to me. If there’s one thing I take pride in, it’s being a father.

Like many, my journey hasn’t been easy. From literally day one when my son was in hospital for a month having little support, I’ve struggled, worried, cried, stressed, and, of course, made mistakes along the way. But no matter what, I’ve always shown up, stayed consistent, stayed heavily involved, and always tried to do better.

As many of you know, I’m passionate about supporting other dads in the community who’ve faced similar challenges and those who just need a space where they don’t feel so alone in fatherhood.

I’m always wanting to help others by sharing my experiences and helping however I can while also learning from others along the way.

It would honestly mean the world if you could take a moment to vote for me on thecccawards website. Being nominated before was an amazing achievement, but winning this one would mean more than words could ever explain 🙏🏽💙

Also, my Fiancé Jessica Edwards is up for The Entrepreneur of the Year award for her amazing business capturedbyjessevents.

She literally pours so much into her business built it on her own and gives families the chance of giving memories such as kids parties, weddings, baby showers, photoshoots etc for their loved ones at prices that are affordable.

READ CAPTION!!

This post may seem like it's for all parents, but it’s aimed at co-parenting dads who don’t fulfill their role as they should—particularly when they aren’t being prevented from seeing their child, and the child’s mum is flexible with contact.

Too often, I’ve seen and heard of dads who try to cover up their absence by buying their children gifts as a substitute for time and presence. But let’s be honest: that’s just a quick fix. Covering up your absence with material things isn’t the way forward.

Over time, this approach teaches kids to see you as someone who gives them things, rather than someone who loves them for who they are. It can leave them feeling unloved or confused about what love truly is as they grow up.

If you have the chance to be in your child’s life and the mother isn’t stopping you, what’s holding you back? I genuinely struggle to understand how someone wouldn’t want to be involved in their child’s life as much as possible

Don’t get me wrong—I know how easy it is to get caught up in life. As a co-parenting dad myself, I understand the challenge of living separately from your child. But that’s all the more reason to make being there for them one of your biggest priorities.

When a child grows up without consistent love and attention from both parents, it can have serious consequences. They may face depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, or self-doubt. They might look for love and attention in the wrong places, turn to crime, or deal with struggles like teenage pregnancy.

Even though it doesn’t get enough recognition, we as dads—especially coparenting dads—play a crucial role in our children’s lives. Every child deserves to feel the love and support of both parents. Let’s make sure we show up and do our part, because our presence truly makes all the difference.

What an UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT!! 🎉🎉

Although I didn’t take home the award I was nominated for, being a finalist at has been the absolute highlight of my year. 👑

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity—it’s something I never imagined achieving, and it’s inspired me to keep pushing boundaries I once thought were impossible. 🙏🏽

The evening was amazing from start to finish: incredible entertainment, delicious food, an exciting after-party, and even a special gift from .The real highlight, though, was connecting with some truly phenomenal people, including:
