Save Your Rights (SYR) is a dynamic charity gaining success since 2008. Thus far the organisation has focused on raising awareness and campaigning on issues affecting human rights and the varied problems people face on a regular basis. Currently and in future, we wish to continue this, wanting to educate people about the issues faced worldwide and how they can be handled and prevented as a univers
al community. Awareness is the first step, the more society knows, the more action can be taken to aid those in need and set an example for the future. Human Rights is a very important aspect within the world, the basic rights of people is too often ignored and warped by cruel individuals. SYR works to provide a way in which people subjected to inhuman acts have a voice, to help put an end to suffering. In order to live in a better world, we as a community must first push to help create it. SYR is governed by trustees from various backgrounds and the majority of our work is conducted by volunteers who generously donate both their time and their talents to this worthy cause. Keeping in mind that SYR is a small charity with limited resources; its work so far has been ground-breaking and influential both nationally and internationally, helping to bring to light injustices faced by citizens, bring hope into their lives and assure those who suffer that there people wanting to help them in any way possible
