LondonSports.com is central London's largest and longest established youth Baseball and Softball league and also offers Basketball and (American) Football.

LondonSports is where all youths matter. We are central London's largest and longest established youth Baseball and Softball league. We also offer youth Basketball and American Football. For over 25 years we have given boys aged 5 to 13 and girls aged 5 to 14 the opportunity to learn and play Baseball, Softball, Basketball and American Football in London in a safe and fun environment. We welcome youths of all nationalities whether they are newcomers to the game or are experienced players. Our goal is to give every player the chance to learn about baseball and softball, instruction on how to improve their skills, develop self-confidence and self-esteem. In all of our baseball divisions, whether instructional (TBall/ Coaches Pitch) and/or competitive (Minors/Majors), we emphasise the value of teamwork and above all, good sportsmanship. Our softball league is one of the largest softball leagues in the UK and takes girls from 9–14 years old from all ability levels. LondonSports also takes girls from 5-8 years old into their T-Ball and Coaches Pitch leagues. This year we will have competitive teams in Junior Girls (ages 9-11) and in Senior Girls (ages 12-14) Every weekend we will be playing games, and while the games are competitive, the ethos of LondonSports is all about helping girls develop their skills, self-confidence and self-esteem. We emphasize the value of teamwork and above all, good sportsmanship and fun!

Back to school, summer's over, but this time there's Fall Ball.

In conjunction with London Youth Baseball League, London Sports is offering a fun developmental fall ball league starting this Saturday September 6th and running Saturdays through the end of October. Play begins at the Scrubs, with October dates at the London Baseball and Softball Complex at Farnham. Register here (and pass it along to anyone who might be into it!)

Congrats to alum Ollie Galvin for another good international outing this summer (after a good GB U18), and dad, coach, and LS Trustee Rich Galvin, as well as alums Elliott Altberger, Owen Wagner, and Wyatt Musil.

Head coach Ian Griebenow wanted his young BBF Lions to turn up the heat at the plate in the second game of the Babe Ruth 13-16 World Series, and on Sunday he got his wish. London Sports alums have been having a busy summer, representing in Europe at the U15 and U18 level, and a couple playing in Boston in the US in a Perfect Game tournament with the London Monarchs. Congrats to all.

That's a wrap on another fine season on the Scrubs put in the books.

As expected: a good spring training, excellent seasons from tee ball through coaches pitch, majors, and beyond. Returning families, new families. Umpires trained, friends made, hot dogs eaten, skills acquired, fun had, competitive juices fired, love of the game nurtured, medals achieved, water balloons fired, speeches restrained.

New this year: Frequent visits from LYBL, Cambridge, and others, and hosting GB Baseball training and Little League tournament prep.

New this year: Introduction of a higher quality outfield fence system still rolling out, new portable nets including a pitcher's pocket, additional infrastructure planning. Also a potentially big scale moon shot opportunity opening up (stay tuned).

And additional sandlot style open weekend play through the summer under way (depending on demand, make sure you see Spond messages), and potential fall play.

Thanks to every player, volunteer, coach, and parent - particularly those who put their hands in to help. And a special thanks to sponsors Passyunk, JP Morgan, and Maseco. Could not do this without you.

Congrats to alumni players and Coach Rich on their GB Great Britain Baseball National Teams and travel club play in Europe.

London Sports was happy to host the U15s on their last tune up before setting off to Sweden yesterday for a week of international friendlies. Including some alumni and our own Rich Galvin on staff. Good luck to Coach Ian and the boys.
