Blessings Wonderful Family,

🔥 MARK 11:24 — WHAT DID YOU RECEIVE?

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

Something really caught my attention in this verse,

The Greek word translated “receive” means to take hold of, to receive, to obtain.
Wow! 🙌

Jesus wants you to RECEIVE AND TAKE HOLD OF SOMETHING when you pray,

He doesn’t simply want you to pray. He wants you to receive what God is giving you as you pray!

Prayer isn’t just about spending time asking God for things and then walking away wondering whether anything happened,

Prayer is an invitation to receive from God 🙌🔥

Jesus says: “Believe that you receive them.”

That makes me want to ask a different question after I pray:

👉 What did I receive from God while I was praying?

Did I receive peace?
Did I receive direction?
Did I receive His answer?
Did I receive strength?
Did I receive a promise from His Word?
Did my faith and confidence rise?

Perhaps prayer becomes much more fruitful ) as God intended), when we don't just focus on what we asked for,but also on what we believe we received.

So next time you pray, (which by the way is continually 🙂), pause afterwards and ask yourself:

“What do I believe I have received?” 🙌🙏

EXPECTATION IS NOT CONTROLLING GOD — IT’S AGREEING WITH HIM! 🔥

Sometimes we can become afraid to expect something from God because we think, “Am I trying to tell God what to do?”

But there is a huge difference between trying to control God and believing what God has already said,

When God has made His will known, faith simply says:

“Lord, I believe You. I agree with You. I expect what You have said.” 🙏🔥

Abraham understood this.
Romans 4:20–21 tells us that Abraham did not waver at God's promise but was “fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”

Abraham wasn't controlling God,
God made the promise. Abraham believed the promise.

That's faith! 🙌

Presumption says:

👉 “God must do what I have decided.”

Faith says:
👉 “God has spoken, so I choose to believe and agree with Him.”

There is nothing arrogant about expecting God to be faithful to His Word,

Expectation can actually be an expression of surrender,

You are saying:

“Father, I'm not asking You to agree with me. I'm choosing to agree with You.”

So God speaks,
You believe
You expect,
You act in agreement with Him,

Don't be afraid to expect what God has promised.

Faith isn't trying to move God into your will—it's moving your heart into agreement with His,
