National Careers Week empowers schools, colleges, Universities, Teachers and Careers Professionals across the UK to celebrate quality CEIAG for at least one full week every year, irrespective of their current activities or lack of funding and resources in this area.

The news it out! The theme for this year's Tomorrow's Engineers Week has been announced as Shape our future and registration is 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡!

From the environment and sustainability to digital technologies and health, the Week will explore the challenges engineers and technicians need to solve over the next 25 years. Students aged 11 to 14 will be given the opportunity to directly engage with these challenges and hear how the professionals tackle these topics.

We are reflecting on a significant milestone and celebrating a remarkable 11-year journey. Andrew has been an integral part of the National Careers Week journey, dedicating over a decade to inspiring students, supporting educators and championing careers.

As this chapter closes, we want to formally recognise his incredible dedication and impact on the careers community.

Nick Newman our CEO shared the following tribute on behalf of the team:

“On behalf of the Directors of National Careers Week we’d like to thank Andrew ‘Bernie’ Bernard for all his help, support and input over the last 11 years. A top man that we shall miss. Best of luck Bernie with your future direction, keep serving those that need you!”
