In Loving Memory of My Beloved Son, David Olawale Idowu
David Olawale, today marks exactly 18 years since you left us. 💔😢
On the morning of 17th June 2008, you left for school and said, "Bye Mum, I love you." I smiled and replied, "See you later. I love you too." Those words have stayed with me every day since.
I did see you again later that day, but it was on life support, as you fought so bravely for your life for twenty days. No mother ever imagines that "see you later" will become a memory that lasts a lifetime.
The pain of losing you has never faded, and not a day goes by that I don't miss you. You remain forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in my heart.
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
Until we meet again, my precious son. I love you always and miss you beyond words. Rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Lord. 🙏💙
