🦋 Great to hear that Lambeth Council is the first London borough to make Butterfly Conservation’s Butterfly-Friendly Council pledge!

The three-year commitment will support more wildlife-friendly spaces across the borough, including wildflowers, long grass and reduced pesticide use – helping butterflies, moths, bees and other pollinators thrive.

It’s great to see more action for nature locally - something we’re passionate about at LJAG too 🌱

This month, we’re delighted to announce the appointment of our first-ever Deputy CEO, Charmaine, marking an exciting new stage for LJAG as we continue to grow. We’ve also been busy creating new spaces for wildlife, with a new pond now at Loughborough Farm.

Plus, we shine the staff spotlight on Joe, our Activities Coordinator at Grove Adventure Playground, and share some of the latest news and opportunities to get involved across LJAG this autumn, including our much-loved Apple Day 🍎

Join clearcommunityweb this Wednesday at Upper Norwood Library Hub for event on how to navigate digital apps to manage your health better and make appointments, as well as the chance to connect with a range of different community groups in the local area to get you moving, fit and healthy.

This Wednesday we have our "Manage Your Health Online, Today" event at the Upper Norwood Library Hub

An afternoon to hear more about accessing your GP records and hospital appointments online and, importantly, an opportunity to get individual help and support to help you

✅ Understand what you need to set up the NHS App or MyChart
✅ Registering for an account (if you have the right information)
✅ Troubleshooting technical issues with the NHS App or MyChart

If we cant you on the day there will be an opportunity to book a session at one of our local digital drop ins.

Age UK Lambeth, Active Lambeth, Thriving Norwood and Healthwatch Lambeth will also be there on the day
