This week, Dorset was proud to host a drive-in party for military veterans at the beautiful Lulworth Castle, in support of the remarkable charity The Not Forgotten.

For over 100 years, this charity has provided vital support to veterans who are ill, injured, or isolated—bringing people together, fostering camaraderie, and offering a sense of belonging.

The Not Forgotten share many of the same values, which is one of the reasons why so many ex-service and serving members of the Armed Forces are drawn to Dorset .

The event, fully funded by Dorset, welcomed more than 200 members of the charity. Guests enjoyed food, entertainment, and companionship, with the weather largely on our side to make for a truly memorable day.

Musical performances, refreshments, and a lively, supportive atmosphere all contributed to the success of the occasion. Attendees included members of the Provincial Executive, local dignitaries such as the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Dorset, senior council officials, local councillors, and senior representatives from the charity.

Both Dorset and the wider United Grand Lodge of England place great importance on supporting the Armed Forces community. This event was a clear demonstration of our continuing commitment to honour and care for those who have served our country.

GMGA OF GOB GRANTS, IN JOINVILLE-SC, COMMENDS DON PEDRO I TO THE FIRST WORKER OF THE LIGHT AND TRUTH STORE III

The Great East of Brazil, by its GMG Ademir Cândido da Silva, congratulates ARLS Luz e Verdade III no 1066, Joinville-SC, for the completion of the Magna Session of the granting of Comenda Dom Pedro I the Brother of the Quadro.

The Session took place on August 19, presided by Sapientissimo Brother Adalberto Aluízio Eyng, GMGA of the GOB, who graced the ceremony.

On the occasion, the Order of Merit was awarded, by the Most Knowledgeable Adalberto, the Order of the Order of Meritor Father Pedro I to the Most Knowledgeable Brother Jorge Puerta, in recognition of his 46 years of exemplary dedication to the Order, in the middle of the Great East of Brazil.

The Order of Merit Father Pedro I is the highest honor bestowed upon a Mason in the GOB, symbolizing not only time of frequency and dedication, but, above all, commitment, ethics, fraternity and tireless work toward Masonic ideals.

Jorge Puerta becomes, thus, the first member of ARLS Light and Truth III - approaching its centenary, with 95 years of history - to receive this distinction. It is the 3rd Brother in Joinville and the 3,250° in all of Brazil (during the 203 years of GOB's existence) to be granted with this honor.

The Sapientissimo Brother Adalberto elevated the biography of the honoree and the spirit of commitment that nurtured the valuable Staff of the Store, in the service of society Joinvillense.

The Session had the presence of 58 Brothers, among whom federal and state Masonic authorities, representing the three regular Obedience: Grande Oriente do Brazil (GOB), Grand Masonic Store of the State of Santa Catarina (CMSB) and Grande Oriente de Santa Catarina(COMAB), representing the unity and respect that transcend jurisdictional boundaries.

The Sovereign GMG Ademir Cândido da Silva salutes the Light and Truth Store III and its valuable Staff, congratulates the specially honored Brother, and puts the GOB and its Officers at the disposal of everyone, to work in favour of Order and Society.

WITH THE PRESENCE OF GMGA, LAELIA PURPURATA STORE CELEBRATES 22 YEARS IN SPA CAMBORI COM-SC, WITH TRIBUTES AND LIBRARY INAUGURATION

The Great East of Brazil, by its GMG Ademir Cândido da Silva, congratulates ARLS Laelia Purpurata at 3.496, Spa Camboriú-SC, for the completion of the Magna Session and Ritualistic Banquet commemorating the 22nd anniversary of the Foundation of the Office.

The ceremony took place on the 26th of April, led by VM Paulo Marcos Mates, bringing together Masonic authorities and co-sister shops in an environment of fraternity, recognition and celebration.

The meeting was enriched by the Knowledgeable Brother Adalberto Aluízio Eyng, GMGA of the GOB, and the Eminent Brother Nilson Manoel de Sousa, GMEA of the GOB-SC who, in their speeches, exalted the history of the Shop, the dedication of the Workers and the full life of the principles of Masonry.

One of the most symbolic moments of the night was the inauguration of the Hermes Antônio Pacher Library, built in the format of Squad and Compass and idealized by the VM of the host store. The tribute recognized Brother Hermes as an example of dedication, simplicity and brotherhood.
