Over the weekend, we hosted a thank‑you tea for US Chesed volunteers from across the United Synagogue ahead of Volunteers' week next month. Bringing together volunteers involved in befriending, social clubs, hospital visiting and other Chesed projects.

Care Coordinator Karen Moss shares the impact that Chesed has for one recipient family. The money raised in the appeal supports those struggling and feeling overwhelmed, and none of this can be done without your support.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, helping us reach £500,000. We are incredibly grateful, but the need is still growing and times are challenging. Please help us raise £600,000 by this evening to support even more people in need.

Each week, our volunteer drivers deliver food parcels directly to those who need them, offering not just essentials but a friendly face and a moment of connection. For some, that extra time to stop and chat makes all the difference.

We are so close to reaching our Chesed Appeal target. Help us get there and continue transforming lives.

Each week, Chesed foodbank bags are packed with essential groceries and delivered to 160–200 households across our community.

US Chesed would not be able to do this without the generosity of our community. Help us continue transforming lives.

A couple weeks ago, the US fundraising team hosted an evening thanking Chesed Champions, attended by The Chief Rabbi Mirvis, US President Saul Taylor and Head of Chesed, Sharon Daniels.

We can't run Chesed without your support and donations. Any amount big or small will make a huge difference to everyone that needs our help. Thank you.

Last year, thanks to the Chesed Appeal, Singing for Memory groups were launched in partnership with Jewish Care in synagogues across the community.

Each week, around 25 to 30 people living with dementia and their carers come together to sing, connect and share a joyful activity. This is just one small part of what makes US Chesed run, and it would not be possible without the generosity of our community.

From 15–17 March, the Chief Rabbi Mirvis' Chesed Appeal will help ensure this vital work can continue, transforming lives every day.

Every week, volunteers from Radlett, Golders Green and Stanmore cook fresh meals which are then distributed through our foodbank to over 150 households.

This is just one small part of what makes Chesed run. Support like this simply would not be possible without the generosity of our community.

From 15–17 March, the Chief Rabbi Mirvis's Chesed Appeal will help ensure this vital work can continue, transforming lives every day.
