We are concerned that Royal Mail has made profits for years while having repeated industrial disputes with loyal postal workers. Letter delivery has failed time and again. We believe privatisation has clearly failed — the Government should restore Royal Mail to public ownership

I know that many constituents from across Southend West and Leigh have faced delays and issues with their postal service.

That's why on Wednesday 1 April, between 10am and 11am, I will be holding a public meeting with Royal Mail where constituents can can share their experiences and join me in calling for improvements.
