We are excited to share that Youth PWR has been awarded funding from the Million Hours Fund to launch our new Safe Hours programme, an extension of our Rooms Project initiative in Waddon, Croydon.

Safe Hours will create extra evening and weekend sessions for young people, giving them a safe, welcoming space to relax, be creative and spend time with trusted adults during the hours they need it most.

Week 1 of our CDM Bootcamp is officially complete ✅ and what a strong start it’s been!

Our young creatives were introduced to the world of Creative Digital Media, exploring the many career paths available across the industry 🎬✨

They learnt about portfolios, developing key soft skills like communication and teamwork🤝🗣️, and started learning how to navigate opportunities with confidence. We also touched on some of the technical tools and hard skills used across the sector.

A great first week filled with curiosity, growth and creativity, and we’re just getting started💡🚀
